Easy to install very comfortable on your knees you need to get in the truck much better than a rubber mat

I've owned Bedrugs in various trucks for the past thirteen years and some things never change - quality and durability of the bedrug and failure by Bedrug to include sufficient adhesion promoter packages in the kit. On a hunch, I ordered a second Bedrug Velcro/adhesion promoter kit as I figured they were just as lacking on a kit in 2024 as they have been for the last thirteen years. Well, in that regard they did not disappoint and I was glad I had the extra as I needed three more packages of adhesion promoter to do the entire job. Great product Bedrug but you need to learn to take care of the customer!

What the instructions don’t tell you is that it’s best to remove the rear bed tie downs (that require a T45 Torx bit) and cutting holes in the rear mat to reinstall the tie down bolts. This allows the tie downs to be reinstalled ON TOP of the mat, thus holding the back portion of the mat securely. There ARE slits in the mat that allow it to sit on top of the rear tie downs (without removing them) if you choose to forgo the above installation comments. Not as secure in my opinion…your choice! My kit came with 4 3M adhesion promoter packets as opposed to 2 as mentioned by earlier reviewers as well as all black Velcro - apparently earlier kits came with some white Velcro that some experienced adhesion issues. I do recommend getting more of the adhesion promoter packets as 4 was not enough - they dry out very fast in warm/hot weather! Also recommend watching a YouTube video on installation as the instructions are a little vague especially regarding the sequence of laying down the Velcro - hit the easy button!Looks great and highly recommend especially as it does not interfere with opening the trunk hatch (that is difficult if one chooses to use a rubber mat)…

the bed rug fits a 2023 Honda Ridgeline very well with about 1/2" gap all away around the the bed. The 2 pieces fit nicely. as with other reviews, you will need additional adhesive promoter. It come with 4 small sponges in sealed bags. they are just barely wet, and the directions say to only do one velcro attachment at a time. If there were 2 more, I would not have to had to purchase a bottle of promoter to complete the attachment. follow the instructions, get a little more promoter, and if like me, the bed rug will be a welcome addition to your truck bed..

I always put a custom fit rubber bed mat in my trucks to prevent things from sliding around. I recently purchased a 2020 Honda Ridgeline. It has a decent composite material in the bed, but it's still very slippery for any cargo.Enter Bedrug. Yeah, it's not really a rug but a polymer that is rug-like and weather proof, as well as a layer of foam below that fits in the bed's channels (more on that later). It reduces cargo noise and wear & tear on the bed, and It does maybe a little to reduce cargo movement, but nothing close to a rubber mat. At least large things will move less and not make a bunch of racket when they do move. Bedrug--if you're listening--how about using this template for a bed mat with a rubber-type or rubber coated surface to keep weight down (also more below)?Regarding the foam under the bedrug.... It's nice that it takes the bumps out, but those channels are also for water drainage. I'm concerned that having all of them loosely filled with foam might not let water drain out properly. Even more so on the half that is on the trunk lid. That piece is attached front and back with adhesive velcro strips, so there is no break for water to get out when it's opened. In hindsight, I should have (and probably will) cut the velcro into short strips to create channels. The foam is precut and just fits into the bed grooves, so it's not like it is glued down or spray foam. There will be some normal drainage, but I wonder how significantly reduced it might become? The bedrug is very light (shipping weight 11 pounds), which ultimately is necessary for the Ridgeline. Anything heavier than the 3-5 pounds that the trunk piece weighs, and the trunk wouldn't open or stay open. As it is, I can see a difference with this attached, but it still stays open. Incidentally, I tried a rubber bed mat from my old truck in this bed, and it was so heavy that the trunk was useless. Lightweight is necessary.Installation was easy, and the velcro is firmly attached and the bedrug(s) will not blow out if you followed the instructions. As many others have noted, it does not come with enough adhesive promoter. The two small pads they include break up quickly, and you have seven long surfaces to apply it to. It is to be applied only as you prepare to attach each velcro strip, not all at once. Fortunately, I read this in reviews several times, so I purchased a bottle of the same 3M adhesive promoter from Amazon just for this purpose. Glad I did, because it was very much needed. Here's the link if you're looking: One other comment that I share with others--the trunk piece appears to be cut with the die for the older Ridgeline, because in only one place on each side it doesn't follow the contours of the lid. This can be cut to match the shape, but given that this overlap is in only two symmetrical small areas and doesn't cause any functional issues, I'll probably let them be versus cutting them and doing a poor job.*2.5 Year Update, 10/30/22*I thought I'd post a small update. It's been 2.5 years since I installed this, and not a single piece has lifted or needed to be glued down again. You really need that extra adhesive promoter, and it seems to work. I do have a hard tonneau cover on my Ridgeline, so the Bedrug doesn't get much exposure. It certainly has handled me hauling things around. It still looks new. Still too slippery for my preference though!

I really like this product. It dresses up the bed of the truck so much that I bought a tarp to put over it when I haul messy stuff.I did not give it five stars because of installation. The Velcro tape supplied to secure it to the bed requires preparation by wiping a primer where the tape goes. The material supplied was less than a quarter of what would have been necessary to properly treat the taped area. (two miniature packets)I made sure to treat the area between the bed and the hinged area of the trunk lid of my Ridgeline. The tape still does not stay secured. This area slops downward an the bed material seems to be too stiff for the tape to keep it secured. I like the rug, wish they would have supplied a better material to keep the Velcro tape down.
