Be advised. There is one handle with four inserts in the package. Not 5 packages containing a handle with inserts. I found the description confusing.Appears to a good product but expensive.

These Mercer file handles are much nicer than the Nicholson wood handles.The only problem is..... You have to purchase them by the dozen.

Very sturdy file handles for flat files. Good dense wood that didn’t crack on installation , and a nice finish that feels good in the hand and should wear well. Fits the Nicholson 12” mill files we use in our shop.

Good file handles are surprisingly hard to find. These are pretty good. They were a little small for the 10" Grobet files I purchased, so I drilled the hole out. They work great.

great handles. nice and smooth, files fit tight. time will tell how well they hold up but i have a decent amount of faith they will last a long time.

These handles are for my new eight and ten inch files. The handles work perfectly and feel comfortable in my hands.

The description says "5 pack" but they only sent one handle. Maybe 5 refers to the number of inserts which would be pretty sleazy considering the price is 4 times what a single handle should cost - but it actually only came with 4 inserts despite the picture. Can't actually return it since I needed at least one for Christmas. Especially disappointed because the handle seems decent and I was going to put the spares to good use. If I can get the other four I'll update the review.
