How To Measure
Neck (Collar)
Take a well-fitting dress shirt, lay the collar flat and measure from center of neck button to beginning of buttonhole.
Overarm
For suit jackets and sport jackets only, measure over your arms at the highest point of the shoulder blades and the fullest part of arms. If the difference between the chest and the overarm measurement is greater than 7 inches, order the next larger size.
Chest
Measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping tape up under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Keep your arms relaxed.
Waist
Measure around waist where you normally wear your pants (measure over shirt, but not over slacks or belt).
Sleeve
With forearm parallel to chest, measure from back center of neck around the elbow to the wrist bone. You can also use a well-fitting shirt, fold at center of shoulder and measure the same as above.

Well, its a beautiful coat. Per the other reviews I am very careful when putting it on or taking it off. I can feel if I am not it will tear. For 200$ Im happy. I wear a hoodie under it and its warm-ish in 10 degree weather so thats pretty good.

This coat fits me well though it would be tight with a jacket, I am 6ft 3 with 42 inch waist and orderedXXL tall. Nice soft material but keep away from animal hair if you have a pet !

First I am 5' 7.5" with a 47" chest and 37" waist and I got a size large. The coat fit perfect across the shoulders, chest and waist but the sleeves were about 3" too long and the coat length came down to about 6" below the lower part of my knee. I wasn't disappointed since with my height and size I wasn't expecting to find a coat that fit off the rack. I took the coat to a professional tailor and spent $90 altering the sleeves and coat length and now the coat fits perfect. I love the material and I can wear it over a suite or just over a shirt.

don't buy from them...if you need to exchange or get a refund...…...I'm still waiting on mine after 3 weeks. Even after I reordered a different size. Think Ill return that one too just because I'm over them.

What an excellent winter jacket! The London Fog jacket I’ve had since 2002 was beginning to look worn. I needed a replacement but couldn’t find a London Fog anywhere in town — or online. So, I opted for this one from BGSD. Well, it is not a London Fog, but it is great! Keeps me warm, fits perfectly, looks great — I just can’t sing its praises enough!!

Finally received my coat and I have to say it appears to be made well. It’s definitely soft and fits perfectly per the measurement chart. I’ve not worn the coat yet but looking forward to having it on, it really looks good.

It's a great coat. My husband and I both really like the look and he enjoys the warmth of it. It's just way too large. I bought an XL, but he could probably get away with a medium without layering. I'm in the middle of the return process, so I'll leave a review for the smaller size when it arrives. I plan on ordering the large so he can add layers as needed. For reference, he's 6'2", 235 lbs, body type: software developer. He did grant that it could fit him if he ever got pregnant XDTL;DR, great coat, buy your regular size if you want to wear layers, size down if you don't.

I purchased this coat to wear while I was vacationing in Paris. It is the most comfortable coat I have ever worn. It is warm and soft with a classic look that will never go out of style.. As you can imagine I had it in over head bins on the plane and it never wrinkled once. It is a wonderful coat for men 20 to 90. Distinctive and comfortable. Could be worn with a suit or denim jeans. Who could ask for more?
