Would be nice if it was fully incased, in the event it rains on the job

Ease of use, great for carrying and more important protection from blades.

It's okay to transport 2 blades for a days work. I'd rate this a 3.5.It doesn't entirely protect the blades from other tools in the bag as it is open faced. It also lacks a locking nut at the back. If you tighten up the blades so they don't roll around with two blades in, the screw sticks out beyond the rest of the bottom.Better design would be a deeper stack capacity (think writable CDs you'd by at the computer store). It could hold more than two blades (I think 4 would be better), there should be a lid that screwed into the body so other tools can't bang up the blades, and there should be a locking mechanism. And really, the retention nut should not be sticking out the bottom. It's better than anything else, but when my 3D printer gets running, I'll definitely try to make a better product for myself.

I bought one each of the 8”(19175), 10” (19176) and 12”(19177) table saw blade holders by Big Horn..In each holder, I was able to safely store 2 blades in each holder, by placing a 2” by 1/8” washer between the blades at the center. Then tighten down the screw..Screw? Yes. The knobs supplied made it easy to tighten down the blades in the holder. However, the knobs made it difficult to conveniently store the blade holders. I replaced the knob in each holder with a Stainless Steel 6x1mm by 16mm long screw. (14 MM long would probably work fine.) Yes, this means that you have to find a Philips screwdriver, to access the blade you want. A minor inconvenience..Overall, I’m pleased. I would give these blade holders a 4.5 out of 5 stars. Since I can’t give a half star, then 4 it is.

Nice little addition to hold one or multiple saw blades. Pretty simple design and the plastic seems pretty durable. Also has a spot to hang up on a wall or hook.

Solid carrier. Center nut attachment seems to be somewhat controversial but design is necessary to accommodate various center hole sizes. Not a slam dunk but has enough flexibility to be useful in most situations, IMO. Not many 8” models on the market it seems.

I like this unit. It's simple and inexpensive. It holds 2 of my 7 1/4 DeWalt saw blades just fine. I just wanted to minimize wear and tear on my blades, my bag and my hands. Works great. 700 stars.
