I have a size 48" chest. Size chart said I needed XL. It was about 6" too large for me. I ordered L (size 42-44) and it fits great. I live the material. I will use it for traveling with the large pocket for my passport.

The Bimini Bay Fishing-type shirt compares favorably to the two major brands. The workmanship, quality and sizing are excellent. The shirts are a tad looser than the two major brands thus guarantee a nice comfortable fit. The Bimini Bay shirt has an unusual but interesting feature. The collar appear to be the standard collar. However, underneath each tip there is a hidden tiny loop and button in case the wearer prefers a button down collar, which I do. For me, that feature is very appealing. I highly recommend Bimini Bay short sleeve and long sleeve shirts.

These are really nice fitting shirts that are super comfortable whether it's near 100° outside or getting down into the '50s. I have had them for about a year now and they are my go-to shirt. I have them in a couple different colors and wear them repeatedly. They hold up well in in all the washings and come out of the dryer. Wrinkle free and ready to go.
