I bought this for my rv mattress. I wanted something easy and hassle free. This was not that. Because our space is very small it made it even worse for installation Maybe because of how I chose to do it (without measuring) but regardless. It’s hard to cut the material with a box knife. It’s stretchy so when you do cut it’s not a perfect cut. When you cut it also makes a huge mess with leftover material particles. That’s just install. Not sure yet about how well it works. If any problems arise due to mold I will update my review. 3 stars because I didn’t like the quality and installation. Not enough double sided Velcro either.

PRODUCT:“Black Mattress Underlay with Large Breathable Meshfiber,0.47in Thick Under Mattress Pad,Under Mattress Ventilation Creating Air Flow for a Dry(118 * 40 in) by Bhyhok”---------------------------------------LIKE:I got this for a Queen size blow-up air-bed. (I measured the Queen size airbed it at 59” wide x 79” long)The pictures can’t tell how actually solf/pliable/non-scratchy this pad is. I was worried about the edges being an issue and poking the air bed. NOT an issue, the edges, as well as the rest of this pad are NOT hard thin plastic. It’s very soft flexible bendable and non-pokey. (It’d probably work well on TOP of the airbed as well, under a bottom sheet.)If the airbed is placed on a rough ground surface (like in a tent), then this pad underneath will protect it from getting poked, as well as preventing some moisture issues. The main problem I had is that this pad comes in a long/thin size of 118” x 40”.To use it with this Queen size Airbed, the 118” length must be cut in half giving two pieces 59” x 40”.When the 2 pieces are flipped sideways and pushed up together, this gives a new total size of 59” wide x 80” long to fit the Queen Airbed.(NOW I must figure out how to somehow sew the two half pieces of this pad back together to make folding/storing/re-using it easier.) Maybe yarn and a large needle to tie several loops along the 59" length.I got a large durable sealable ”blanket storage bag” that it folds and fits into nicely.-------------------

Nice protection for a mattress in your RV. I didn't realize how important it is to get a little air between the mattress and platform. Glad to have gotten ahead of this and it certainly help me better understand what happened with my last mattress. Won't be making that mistake again. If it doesn't quite fit, cut it to size!

This black mattress underlay was extremely easy to use. It comes as one roll and we were able to cut it in half to fit the queen bed in our camper with just a 2 inch section that overlaps in the middle. It comes with 6 sticky pads to keep it in place and so far it seems to be working. The underlay was much thicker than I had expected so I feel great that it will help with air flow! Time will tell!

I was pleasantly surprised at the thickness and the spring of the material. I ordered this for may RV beds. The material does have to be cut to size. It's best to use a strong pair of scissors for cutting and trimming. I can easily see how this can add some breathing between your RV mattresses and the bed surface. I have not had any mold issues. Simply ordered this as a preventative measure.
