My fault for ordering these jig saw blades. I should have noticed they are much shorter than your standard jig saw blades (even the one blade which comes with the new Black and Decker jig saw I purchased at the same time here on Amazon).Do yourself a favor, and skip these shorter cheap blades. They definitely limit the depth of your cut and actually wear down quite quickly. I suggest purchasing your blades elsewhere--anywhere. The only positive is they easily fit and lock into the Black and Decker jig saw(s).

The blades I used worked well with my jig saw, but then my jig saw quit working and the blades don't fit the new Black and Decker unit I bought. The blades were very good.

This has several different types of blade. Easy to install on my jigsaw and I have had no problem with any the blades so far. Stays sharp for a good amount time no matter what speed or material I'm cutting. Not much else to say.

I purchased this set of Black + Decker Jigsaw blades due to a project I've started that requires cutting both wood and metal pieces to complete. So far, I've completed all of the wood cuts (1" X 3" Oak) and about 70% of the metal (.080" 6061 T6 aluminum) cuts and I'm still using the first metal blade, and wood blade. I didn't think the metal blades would last for as many cuts, (42 cuts so far) and still be cutting so nice. Very nice quality blades that get the job done!

I use my jigsaw for cutting picture backing and wooden frames for my "outside the box" custom framed artwork. The original blade that came with the jigsaw was not suitable for the purpose because it was too heavy, too wide, etc. The smaller blades in this package work great for the purpose intended. Haven't used any of the other size blades yet but don't see why they wouldn't suit any other purpose required. Good is good!
