Install was easy on my '21 FJR1300 (after figuring out I was putting the bolts in the wrong way!). No cables needed rerouting or extending and pushes up the handlebars just the right height for me (I'm 6'2). May play around with positioning back further but generally, they feel about right. Better value than the Heli bars.

Pretty good product. They match the original handle bar colors close enough not to notice. You can adjust these for the three different riding positions so you don't lose that ability. Only took maybe an hour to install and that's if your just going at a moderate pace. Nothing hard about it.The instructions are however....absolutely dismal. That's the problem with knock offs, they don't know how to write decent instructions. But, there is hope. As one previous reviewer said, go to Gen Mar and get their instructions as this is a direct knock off of their product and you'll be fine.

Instructions are horrible yet it took me about an hour to install by myself.Fortunately these appear to be a knock-off of GenMars so I printed out the instructions off their website and studied them. The most time consuming part was taking a Dremel cutting wheel to both wire looms. Before putting the bike on the center stand (not mentioned in Black Path's instructions) break loose all the bolts, including the 36mm steering head nut. Then throw it up on the center stand for the remainder of the work. When removing and installing the triple clamp it helps to take weight off the front of the bike. If you don't have a hand, just sit and lightly bounce on the passenger seat while pulling off or re-installing the triple clamp. The larger bolt is installed with the bolt head on the bottom, nut on top. The smaller bolt is installed with the bolt head on top, nut on the bottom. Washers go with the bolt heads. The smaller bolt/nut will require a wrench on the bottom to hold the nut as there's no space for a ratchet. Can't comment yet on how much this helps the ergos of the bike, but I'm happy with the fit and finish. They look factory and the hardware provided is great.Make sure you cover your tank, side fairings, and gauges with towels. I did slip up once and allow the ratchet to cause a scratch on one of my bars. If you're careful it's totally preventable.UPDATECompleted a 1400 mile 3-day trip shortly after installing these and they made a noticeable difference in comfort. Last winter I took a trip with similar time/miles with the stock set-up and developed some soreness in my shoulders and neck. These risers completely eliminated that issue. I'm 5'9" with a 32" inseam and the bike is equipped with a Sargent seat on the low position.

The product is rock solid and the fit and finish is excellent. I am very happy and the riding position is excellent. The instructions could use some work and the pictures are too dart to really see. However, the customer service is great and they were prompt to respond and help. My advice is to go ahead and remove the triple tree top and go from there.

I bought these for my 2010 FJR. They do a good job matching the existing handlebar finish and I installed with out any problems. The existing small screws that hold the bolt cover plates in place can be used with these risers and included hardware. Installation instructions are a little lacking but the online reviews are helpful in supplementing the instructions. The risers make the ridding position slightly more comfotable without detracting from the look of the bike.

I got to say that these risers are worth every penny on my FJR1300. Went for a ride today (150 miles) and pain between my shoulder blades was greatly diminished. Still had a tiny bit of discomfort which I would expect having not stopped at all for a break riding all two lane with lots of curves. These risers have transformed my motorcycle and I couldn't be more pleased. The fit and finish also complements the bike. The hardware is top quality as well. Note: When I say I still have a little discomfort one must consider my age (74) so I think that accounts for 99.9% of any riding discomfort I may have.

I just finished installing it on my 2014 Yamaha FJR-1300A. Everything was top notch: the hardware was all high quality grade 8.8 with Nylok nuts. Everything fits perfectly. The big bolts were tapped and came with a small bolt to reinstall the covers. Awesome. Now this is my comment: the big bolt heads were 18mm. This is an unusual size metric because none of the metric wrench or socket set ever came with 18mm (the nuts were 17mm so that's ok). I had to make a trip to Sears to get a metric 18mm socket. I would suggest either to provide a bolt with 17 or 19mm that will be perfect. Also, the instructions that came with the blocks recommended loctite. The OEM nuts/bolts did not use any and I would not recommend using loctite on Nylok nuts as loctite will eat the plastic, unless you use a plastic-safe Loctite.Other than that, this is highly recommended.
