Instructions and in fact the instruction picture showed a welded bolt on one side of the frame that had to be removed, but did not even mention. Crazy it assumed the mounting was the same on both sides which is not true. So it took an extra long time to install. Finished install did fit nicely through the grill, and I really like the blue ox removable hitch connectors which is why I rated at 4 stars.

Take your time, study the instructions, watch many you tube videos for your car and be persistant and the job will be completed. You will also need two jacks to lift the weight up evenly and carefully.Like any worthwhile DIY project, stay with it and you can accomplish the task.

Blue ox pre drilled holes did not line up with my 2016 srx. I had to do a lot more work by drilling new holes.

Fits great,, almost totally hi dden when tabs removed, wish brackets for electrical plug in were shorter, that's the only thing visible, plug sticks out a little, painted it flat black too help hide. .paid$475. to have installed, including light hook up& running wires for brake buddy into front floor area.Installed on 2014 cadillac SRX, had to cut two vertical bars on lower grille, cannot tell they were ever there. Very happy.
