  • These are nozzles for High Flow applications
  • Bondtech CHT nozzles split the filament into 3 thinner strands allowing to melt the material from within. In doing so, the material melts faster and higher flow rates can be used.
  • A Nickel coating is applied to our Coated Brass nozzles to provide protection against corrosion, erosion, and abrasion. Nickel coated nozzles have more corrosion resistance and lower coefficient of friction, which allows slicker feeding of material and delays plastic adhesion to the nozzle's surface.

These are nozzles for High Flow applications

I ran the h*ck out of one of these for a few years. probably waited too long before I replaced it. Tried a different "high speed" nozzle, and was promptly reminded just how fast these are. My PETG profile, ONLY changing the nozzle, runs this stuff at a solid 2x extrusion rate vs. a 0.5 mm gamma.

The nozzles are amazing quality and DO increase speed by the way they are made. PLA, PETG, TPU all print perfect. I have a .4 and .6 nozzle and they are my everyday nozzles to use. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to increase flow a little bit more.

so using with PLA+ for now, but both prints were great. a little fun with stringing and restarts on a wing model caused gaps, but settings and slicing issue than pure nozzle causes. on the 1st model which had little to no retracts, it was darn perfect. so if you run this, be careful with retracts for stringing, restarts from retracts, and readjust the pressure advance. i failed to tune the nozzle/material prior to printing, so the issues i saw were not the nozzle but user error. for what i needed (prototype in PLA) it worked great. for final prints even with the issues. i know i need to tweak those settings to get the best out of it. I used the 0.4mm nozzle before and its great to when tuned. End results of both prints are big strong prints. this will be the go to for big parts in ASA/PETG from now on (think large scale model aircraft wings that have a 360mm chord). i'll have to tune up the settings before committing a roll to those large models.

I tested these on a Mercury One with a Mosquito Magnum hotend. I got ≥4mm/s^3 more flow rate when testing with the "blob" method. Print quality is the same. Cold pulls are more difficult. Overall would recommend.

The CHT nozzle has been a game changer to all that have used it. The design works as intended and allows for full heat penetration of the filament in turn allowing for higher flow rates.
