About this item

  • RESTORE AND MAINTAIN cigars in your humidor at the right Relative Humidity (RH) so they’re ready for that perfect moment—the smoke. Choose among 4 RH packets (65%, 69%, 72% and 75%).
  • ORDER 75% RH packet to OVER compensate for leaky or glass top humidor or humidor in a dry climate. Regulates moisture lost to achieve 69% RH. (Depending on personal preference, also appropriate for up to 1 lb aromatic pipe tobacco).
  • HOW MANY BOVEDA FOR YOUR HUMIDOR? Use one (1) Large Boveda for every 25 TOTAL cigars a humidor can hold. Example: For a 100-cigar capacity humidor, use four (4) Large Boveda packs at once. For bigger humidors, use X-Large Boveda.
  • NOTHING TO ADD OR ACTIVATE. Eliminates the mess of using water, gels, beads or PG (Propylene Glycol) in your humidor. Automatically adds AND absorbs moisture to keep your premium cigars fresh and tasting the way cigar makers intended.
  • LONG LASTING! Maintains the right RH for a wood humidor for 2-4 months and an airtight humidor for 6-9 months. A simple touch test will let you know when it’s time to replace this humidor pack—the Boveda will feel rigid and crunchy.

Why I Buy Boveda
  • Boveda is precise, works automatically and is mess free. Wet sponges do one job—add moisture. You never know if it’s too much or too little. Boveda adds or removes moisture as needed to achieve and maintain precise humidity inside a humidifier box.

  • Yes. Inside each Boveda is all-natural salts and water sealed in a leakproof membrane. Boveda doesn’t change the taste of your sticks. The humidity control preserves their already great flavor. Boveda is FDA compliant and food safe.

  • NO!!! If your Boveda arrived individually wrapped in cellophane, remove that plastic overwrap before slipping the humidity control pack into your humidifier box. DO NOT OPEN the brown packet itself.

  • Every 2 to 4 months in a wood humidifier box or 6 to 9 months in an airtight plastic container. Subscribe to Boveda to have replacements automatically sent to you at a frequency that’s right for you.

  • No. Rehydrating a pack prevents it from reaching exact precision, sets you up for extreme humidity fluctuations and can introduce water-born contaminants into your humidifier box. Why risk it?

They're definitely a great product! For my cigar humidor, I use one packet of 72%. Each last about 3 or 4 weeks..maybe little longer depending on how often you open the lid on humidor. No longer need to rely on a hygrometer! Highly recommended..but a little "pricey".

I get the 75%. They keep my humidor at around 70. Buying in bulk is cheaper and easier than going to a local cigar store. Good product and more effective than those little plastic humidifiers with special solution which never really get the humidity to the correct levels.

I've been using these for several years now in my cigar humidors and they do a great job! They are kind of pricey but they do such a good job I'll keep using them. I combine them with a Govee humidity monitor so I can keep an eye on them. I like to use a higher % in cool weather and lower % in warmer months.

I have a guitar collection to care for so I bought this product and my guitars were protected during winter. One of my guitars showed some signs of lack of humidity and after I used this product they disappeared and my guitar was like new. I recommend this product.Update: One of my favorite guitars, a custom built classical, developed severe dryness of its fretboard. It shrunk so bad that all frets were sticking out making it unplayable. How this happened? It was my fault as I neglected to keep a supply of Boveda pouches. Anyway, I didn't want to pay big $$$ to have it fixed. I ordered a box of Boveda's 84% pouches and incerted two inside the body and 2 on top of the fretboard which was held in place by just closing the hardshell case. Last night, after several weeks, the fretboard was like new, no sticking frets and a delight to play. This product is worth every penny. Boveda's humidity system will be the only thing I'll use to maintain my babies in excellent playing condition. Again.. I highly recommend it.

The Boveda packs really work well. I got sick and tired of over-humidification in my small Adorini Torino humidor, a problem I'm pretty sure many people have with whatever make of humidor they have. Adorini's humidification system is supposed to be among the best - a gel pad inside a smart holder that is re-charged with distilled water, and it worked fine for about 6 months holding a steady 72-74% humidity (which is slightly high, but ok), but then it started massively over humidifying at 80% plus, which means mould. Even getting a new gel pad didn't solve the problem. So in the end I bit the bullet and got the Boveda 75% humidity pack, and I certainly do not regret it. There's always a little humidity loss from a wooden humidor, and I've found that one 60g 75%-rated pack holds my Torino humidor perfectly on 71% humidity - just where I want it. It's perhaps a more expensive means of humidifying than most, but a) it works, and b) given the packs are supposed to last a couple of months, when you work out how much it costs over time, and think about how much the cigars themselves cost, it's really not much. Strongly recommended.

I love this humidification system. Instead of having to remember to "water" you cigars, this is maintenance free.It consistently maintains the humidity level to whatever the pack says.the package says one-two packs per 25, I would go with 2 per. I have found that my box that hold 50 (and that's usually what I have on there) needs 4 packs to maintain.as a note: I recommend that you use their "seasoning pack" even if your humidor isn't new. The pack is 84%, and sets up your humidor nice for the new system. tt takes about 2 weeks (their instructions) to properly season the humidor.I have two boxes and I didn't do it for the first box, and had trouble maintaining the level that I wanted (in this case 75%). I read a few things on-line and decided to season the box (even thought I had it for years). Turns out that the box was pretty dry. I removed all the cigars, put two seasoning packs in for two weeks, then put all the cigars back, and 4 75%packs. And since then (over two years now) it maintains a perfect 75%. (I keep a digital hydrometer in the box)Depending on conditions, I get about 2-3 months out of a pack. And since the packs only release moisture when needed, their is no over humidifying. So no more mold on the cigars! Enjoy
