Bought this for my buddies 92 miata after the drivers side regulator cables ate themselves. Install was easy, everything lines up as it should. the motor is a bit slow and underpowered, but it does go all the way up and down. On our unit the wires on the plug are reversed, so up is down and down is up, but not really a big deal. Not bad for 140$ cad shipped

For the price it's a very good replacement part, exposed cable drums is possibly not as good an idea as the OEM part, but only time will tell. at the moment it works really well and fingers crossed it will continue to do so.

Doesn't come with any instructions so if you aren't mechanically inclined good luck. No lubricant on anything so I'm not exactly sure it's made to last long. I greased up the cable spools and track myself when installing. Window goes up and down.

This thing sucks. Shipped with no lubrication on anything and is built overly cheaply with stamped steel garbage. I ordered it because I was in a bind and it was available but after I installed it and lubricated, it BARELY raises the window. The nearly 30 year old OEM it’s replacing even worked better than this hot garbage before it broke than this one does new. Stay away unless you’re desperate….it’s two stars because at least it fits and sort of works….
