2020 Model 3 AWD. Purchased the black yoke. I'm extremely happy with this purchase. The steering metal frame has a embedded Tesla logo (basically part of the casting). The scroll wheels also have Tesla logos. I'm guessing the center housing is also Tesla. The leather feels great. Without a doubt this is OEM quality.Something to keep in mind...the square nature of the yoke means the corners stick out a bit further than the original round steering wheel. I'm a 6'4" guy and I can tell. If I could position the yoke up a bit higher I would. But it's not a show stopper.Like others have said it's definitely a gimmick. But I actually like it! My only regret is maybe I should have purchased the white model.

Shout out to Amazon for next day delivery of this item. After a while of owning my 2018 Model 3 Long Range I decided to upgrade the steering wheel. This yoke steering wheel is awesome. The quality, feel, and ease of installation is what any buyer would want. The hardest part of the installation is removing the large bolt located in the center of the steering wheel after you remove the airbag (airbag will not burst and hit you in face). I say be careful when disconnecting the airbag and horn/steering control cables, you definitely don't want to pinch or pull these out. Once removed the car will prompt a warning/error message disregard. Removing the bolt will take some force or two people, in my case it was just me and to help loosen the bolt I had to tap the bolt and around it quickly several times and it loosened. All I used was a rachet set and a 3/8 10mm hex bit to remove bolt from center steering wheel. I was surprised there yoke came fully assembled and ready for plug and play out the box. I chose to transfer the entire front part of the Tesla steering wheel cover to the yoke as I didn't like the cheap feeling scroll wheels on the yoke. The yoke comes with official Tesla logos all over the yoke signaling it's using genuine Tesla parts to assemble the body of the product. Driving with the yoke was weird for literally 5 seconds as my brain adjusted to backing my Tesla up with the yoke for the first time. In order to see if I'd like using the yoke, immediately after installing I drove around the city. I first travel down main roads, highways, then went to a free public multilevel parking garage to try out parking and turning sessions. This would somewhat get my brain used to different turning situations on public streets and highway overpasses. In closing, I really like the yoke it feels great in the hand and is comfortable during auto pilot moments. I did have to adjust my seat and the steering wheel position as my thigh would rub against the yoke during entry and during certain vehicle turning. Tall people (6 ft+) or someone with larger thighs (I'm skinny, 5'11) may run into an issue during entry and turning the yoke while driving. I had to push my seat back a little to accommodate turns and avoid rubbing the yoke with my thigh during entry of the vehicle. This may not be an issue for Model Y owners. I highly recommend this yoke it opens up the driver area and is definitely a conversation piece. I included several pictures of yoke, the round Tesla wheel to show center bolt and the finished install. Once the round wheel is off installation takes under 20 minutes or 5 minutes if you don't switch the front cover as I did. Happy installing! : )

2018 M3 LR RWD. Really happy with this purchase. Quality seems nice. Steering wheel frame has their sticker covering up Tesla logo on back so I don't know if this is OEM frame or not but fit was perfect. Installation was not a problem thanks to so many YT tutorials.A couple comments that might not be mentioned in some video tutorials...1. To remove the air bag module, you need to depress left and right releases together simultaneously, or else if you don't, while you will get the top right/left clips to release one at a time, the bottom clip won't release, not unless disengaging both the left and right sides at same time together.2. This assembly does not include the wiring harness and so is not really plug n play. You can also search for YT vid subject such as 'steering wheel wiring harness transfer', or similar, so you can get idea about how to correctly do the harness migration without damaging anything while trying to pull things apart as a first timer.3. Some video tutorials included steps to disconnect 12v battery neg terminal in frunk, and also to disconnect high voltage battery connector under passenger rear seat. I did not do either of these but instead I only powered off car in menu settings>safety>power off.4. If you plan to disconnect the batteries as mentioned above, as some tutorials suggest, you should open all your doors, roll down all your windows, open trunk and frunk, etc, before doing this so as to ensure you don't end up needing to get back into some area but cannot because of no power.

You have to completely dismantle the old sterling wheel to transfer the components to the yoke. But once it's all done, it's worth it. Makes the car look awesome and easy to steer ( after an adjustment period). Heater gets very hot. Love it.

I have been wanting the yoke for some time.Finally did it and I love it.3 stars because no instructions were included, not even a link to instructions.I had to take internal parts from the stock steering wheel as it was not included… for that price I’d think I would get everything I needed.Haven’t tested the heating component yet but will update if there are any issues.Took it for a test drive and I’m a fan

Very good quality. Easy install. Very good value. Did not even unplug the power cables. Just turn the car off on screen and installed in an hour. That's the good partNow, it's a total gimmick. Good conversation piece. Every single person I gave a ride to was just over the moon about this yoke steering thing. Oh, wow! Oh, ah, ooh. Other than that - very uncomfortable. Been driving for a week now. Got used to it. But if you live in urban area a lot of maneuvering will drive you crazy. Long drives - maybe. City - dunno...I'm not gonna return it, cuz it's a good show piece, And still, gave it 5 stars, for the quality and looks.That's it.
