Furnace melts up to 5 Kg (measured in Brass, metals will vary). Designed with a powerful DFP burner to heat up to 2300°F. Melts gold, silver, copper, aluminum, brass, bronze, cast iron, and more! The heavy-duty steel exterior with refractory cement on the furnace floor and firebrick. Furnace interior is lined with 1" of ceramic wool and the cover is lined with 2" to 3" of the ceramic wool as well. Chamber Dimensions: 6" W x 7.6" H (150 mm x 190 mm). Outside Dimensions: 8" W x 12" H (200 mm x 300 mm). Connection kit included: Gas pressure regulator, 1 - 90 PSI (0 - 6 bar) gauge with manometer, an 8" gas hose, and 2 clamps.
Casting Sand is an ultra-fine, oil-bonded and pre-mixed moldable clay/sand mixture that allows you to cast highly detailed silver, gold, and copper materials. This method allows you to virtually duplicate dimensional objects (such as ancient coins, toys, wax, wood, plastics, etc.) with gold, copper, bronze, or silver using this reusable clay. The molds can be made from objects composed of wood, wax, epoxy, plastics, and metal. Not recommended for designs with undercuts.
The mold flask is a sturdy cast iron vessel that measures 4-3/4" x 3" x 2".

Graphite Foundry Crucibles are made from a combination of graphite and clay. Rated to withstand temperatures up to 1560°F to 2912°F. Measurements: 5-1/4" high x 4-3/4" in diameter (exterior dimensions); 4-3/4" deep x 3-3/4" in diameter (interior dimensions).
The 13" safety gloves are ideal for hand protective when working with high temperatures.
