Unfortunately, this capacitor friend within one minute. I used to to replace the one in my Delta AP400 dust collector. Waste of money for me, but could have been a bad batch

I put the capacitor in my dehumidifier a small one one that you put in your room, turned it on and you couldn't touch it so hot and started to smell like burnt plastic. There is no way to miss wire a 2 pole capacitor polarity doesn't matter this product is trash!!!

I replaced another 50 uF / 250V capacitor with this one - same specs. The motor started right up but within a minute or two the capacitor was blowing smoke like a mosquito fogger. I ordered another brand 50 uF / 250V capacitor and it worked great. (yes, same wiring configuration).

I can’t recommend. I bought this to replace the start capacitor on my dust collector. The motor started right up but within 10 minutes run time I smelled something odd. Looked at the dust collector switch box that houses the capacitor and oil was running out of it. So much for this capacitor. Buy something else.
