With apologies to Rodgers and Hart, this little writing pad from Graphique truly is worthy of adoration. I have fine stationery and am no stranger to nice things. And maybe it is a little silly to wax lyrical about paper (to those who don't love paper products), but seeing this caused me to gasp and throw my hand over my mouth. My husband thought something was wrong, but no... this is just a stunning little piece of art with its gold-gilded sides, golden ribbon and gold embossing and type. It's playful, refined and a touch romantic. It feels very Sun King and French to me. However you experience it, one thing's for sure: This pad is something special and will add magic to everyday use. I intend it as a type of gratitude journal.If you're a generous soul and could bear to part with it (better idea: Get one for yourself, too!), this would be a stunning gift folded in plain white tissue paper in a plain white box (or for drama, navy blue, black or deep red box and tissue) with a gold cord around it. It's so impressive, it doesn't need anything fancy and once the gift-ee sees it, no one's going to remember how you packed it. In practical terms, the paper is substantial and takes ink well; it almost seems a shame that this is "just" a notepad and not notecards or a journal. Maybe one day... In the meantime, this is affordable luxury. No one would guess it costs less than $20. Treat yourself or someone you love.

This list listpad is beautifully crafted. The gold edged pages are a generous 4"x9.75" with a gold embossed bee on the top and the gold "BUSY BEE" embossed on the bottom of each page. The quality of every detail is exquisite. The paper has a nice weight and texture for writing. This is a beautiful and perfect for gift giving. I love the yellow ribbon on the sealed shrink wrap that adds to the luxe feel of this item. A great treat for yourself or a friend that enjoys quality stationary. Perfect in every way.

Wow. This is the fanciest notepad I've ever had. "Luxury notepad" is right. The paper itself feels like the kind of paper an artist would use. The shine from the gold foil is gorgeous. It almost feels too pretty to use. I love that the message at the bottom is a reminder for positivity. I tested it with pens and a highlighter, and you can't see anything on the back. The yellow pen used in the photo is actually gold with tiny flecks of glitter, and the gold on this pad put it to shame so that you can't even tell. It just looks like plain yellow in comparison. The pages tear smoothly. If you're looking for a very high quality notepad either to make yourself happy or to give as a gift, I'd highly recommend this one.

I am so SO happy I ordered this! I've been looking for a good quality (really old school good quality) notepad forever and I FINALLY found it!I used to travel to London for work occasionally, and there was (and still is) a stationer there and I used to occasionally splurge on their pricey and beautiful products.Paper that is smooth, but still grabs the ink, gold edges, and tasteful small designs in gold foil on every page. I cannot believe I found this same quality product on Amazon, to be honest!I did a quick test on how the paper grabs the ink with multiple pens. As long as you don't use a sharpie or other fat permanent markers, the ink does not bleed through.The design is chic with a wink, since the old school almost Renaissance like sun is combined with the gold foil letters "Look On The Bright Side"! Totally just makes me smile.The design is on every page. I wasn't sure when I ordered these if that was the case, but it is! Yay!I love this note pad. It makes a great gift and it comes wrapped in cellophane with a chic gold ribbon.This notepad makes me happy, and if you're on the fence about this, I think you'll be happy if you get it.

This is a very elegant note pad with the most beautifully soft linen-like paper. Each page is so smooth and tears away from the pad perfectly. The gold-pressed details are very good quality and lovely, and there's gold around the sides of the paper too. It comes wrapped in plastic with a gold ribbon around it, so you could definitely give this as a gift. I will consider buying one of these pads in the future for a gift. I personally like the Bright Side one for myself, but the Cherries would be cute for a friend. It is truly one of the nicest pads I've ever used.

This is a beautiful notepad with intricate gold foil details. It's a bit larger than standard size and made of thick, nicely textured paper with gold foil edges. It does not have a magnet on the back, but it functions well as a note taking pad. As you can see from the photos, it's blank with no lines. It came nicely packaged with a bow so is perfect for gifting. It's a great value for such a lovely notepad that looks very high end.
