This device worked well but only made it trough a few gallons of cherries over about a year, then the plastic parts broke.

If you need to pit a ton of cherries, this device works great. It feeks very sturdy. It does spray a little bit of juice, but I just use a deep bowl and it's fine. It's easy to use, but you do need some hand strength. Also look at the cherries before giving to kiddos or putting in a pie. I did notice a few blew out the side but the pit was still in the edge of the cherry. Awesome overall though!

This cherry pitter is a joy to use. Ergonomically it is great, it fits my grip well and is easy to use. It makes quick and clean work of pitting cherries (haven't tried anything else yet). It is easy to clean and easy to store. All great points for me and so much fun to use!
