Plastic. But decent quality.My V-Star 1100 screw attachment is located on the top-right.This item screw attachment is designed to the right on the side of panel-cover. Had to drill out hole (for screw clip) and get longer stainless M-6 hex-head 2.5inch screw.Not too much of an inconvenience. But made it work.
