I wanted my friend to be able to charge his tesla when he visits. I have a gas dryer but I also have a 30amp dryer outlet that is unused. We followed the directions only charging at 24amps as per the instructions and it worked great! The 24amp limit is from the national electric code for continuous loads on a 30amp circuit. Any 30amp circuit at a full 30amp (or 32amp Tesla max charge rate) is at risk of burning up which is very bad lol so follow the directions 24amp max. I added a big double sided tag with white duct tape to it avoid any future problems and I recommend you do the same.

It adapts the plug at work to fit my EV charger. I'm charging at work at 40 amps and this plug handles it fine.It replaced a simple shape adapter that I bought which did get hot and melt under the same conditions.I recommend it!

This is a very well made, heavy adapter. Works great with my Vevor EV charger so that I can use it with standard welding outlets.

Works great with the Rivian Mobile charger. Just wish the cord as a little bit longer.

If you have a house built before 2000, you probably have a 3 prong dryer outlet. I do, and I also have an EV that needs charging. The first thing was to get this adapter for my EV plug. It fits perfectly going from the old sryle 10-30 plug to the new 14-50 plug. It works seamlessly!This adapter is very well made. The cable is heavy gauge to send all those amps to your car. The big gauge wire prevents the adapter from overheating, and melting. Another good feature about this adapter is that it isn't all black wiring. The end are a nice blue to make it easy to see.The best feature? It is plug and play. Other adapters are plug in, but they also come with an extra ground wire that you have to attach somewhere. Easy peasy! It is a fantastic value as you don't have to hire an electrician to do your install.

I have used this almost everyday . We use it to plug our ev charger up. We now charge 2 vehicles daily and have been using it for 6 months. There is zero signs of wear or heat. No discolored at all. Never feels hot it is very well made. We run 40amps through it for about 5 to 7 hrs a day. 100% would buy again
