Such a cute journal! I love the “one line a day” format and am using it to record a quote that speaks to me each morning. The cover is a beautiful teal color and the paper is high quality. The stickers add a fun touch and allow you to personalize your writings.

I love Clever Fox journals. They are well made, sturdy, and the printing in them is always crisp and clear. This journal is no exception. I've moved into this journal from a Leuchtturm1917 One Line A Day 5 year journal and this Clever Fox journal is, in my opinion, much better. It is bigger, with more space to write, and the paper is thicker, no ghosting, something the Leuchtturm is notorious for. I'm very happy with my Clever Fox journal and look forward to using it for the next five years.

I've been using five-year diaries for some time. It's surprising how interesting it is to go back and read past entries or how useful it can be to track down when something happened. This journal is one of the best that I've seen. For one thing, it will definitely last the five years (and much longer) and still be in good shape. It's extremely well made, with sewn-in pages and a tough faux leather cover. It is much larger than most of the journals I've seen, and that translates into more space to write and accommodates larger handwriting. The pages are smooth and heavy and had less bleed through than many others when I tested an ultra fine point marker. There is no issue at all when using a ball point pen, my writing tool of choice. Added attractions include a gusseted pocket on the inside of the back cover. It will be useful to hold notes, but it arrives with three sheets of stickers. I always need more space for writing, so I find it hard to imagine using these in the journal, but I'm sure many people won't have my issue, and even I can see other uses for them, such as on a calendar. I love the color I chose (aquamarine), and I like the outline of the clever fox on the cover. I also like the elastic bands to hold your pen and to keep the book closed. I have two extremely minor issues with the journal. One is that there isn't much separation between the date and the beginning of the space for the entry. The line for the entry literally starts right after "20." I would prefer a designated space for the date before the entry begins. I would also prefer something to indicate the day of the week. Why? It adds more information to your entry and helps prevent you from accidentally writing your entry on the wrong day. These are minor preferences, though, and don't detract from a wonderful journal.

I love 5 year journals and am almost done with my 3rd one, so I was excited to try this as I've had good experiences with the Clever Fox brand's books in the past.This is a handsome journal that seems like it's great quality. The paper is thick-- a normal pen did not bleed through at all, and even a sharpie seemed to be just baaaarely visible on the other side of the paper. It's got all the things you'd like in a 5-year journal, namely a bookmark and a pen holder, along with a little pocket that you could use to store anything extra you might want to add, like maybe a picture printed from Jan 1 of each year or something. It comes with stickers, although I can't really see myself using them. The book is larger than some I've had, with ample space for a few sentences about each day.The only drawback is that given the sturdy cover and thick paper, the book itself weighed 27 oz on my home scale (about 1.7 lbs). This means you might not want to take it on a short trip. Given that, it would be awesome if instead of generic journal stickers, it included a few travel entry stickers in the back cover pocket so you could just write on a sticker and then paste it into the designated day's spot once you got home.

I didn’t realize until it arrived that it is a 5 year one line a day journal, so that was a pleasant surprise. Such great quality, paper thickness. Two thumbs up!

Purchased for my wife. She is happy there are plenty of space/lines for each year.Color is really nice, thick pages, and she likes that the cover is kind of padded but not overly soft.

Exactly what I was looking for. The cover is stiff and the paper is thick and high quality.No prompts or anything, just some lines to write out each day. Note that it is dated with a spot for you to write the year.I own some of their other journals too and they're all very nice quality.

Many good things here, such as size and paper weight, but also some questions: Is the paper acid free? This is a journal, so I want the paper to last a long time and not get brown and fragile. So acid free paper is a necessity. And the stickers are completely unnecessary - the glue at the back of the sticker usually just leaves a brown mark after the glue oxidizes, with the sticker then falling out.
