Clyde's Garden Planner is a unique, and handy, Vegetable Planting Slide Chart which presents gardening events in a time-phased format, using a horizontal calendar so that it is possible to see the entire Planting, Growing, and Harvesting period at a glance, (Chart Size = 51/8" x 81/2", 12 Point Cardstock Paper).
Chart shows proper Indoor and Outdoor planting times relative to local spring and fall frost dates for 22 commonly grown garden vegetables.
Since frost dates vary, the RED frost line slides, making Clyde's chart useful in most parts of the Northern Hemisphere, where frost is a critical gardening factor. A Listing of Local Spring and Fall frost dates is included in the directions, (US and Canada).
The front of the chart presents the Spring Season, and the flip side acts as a guide for Fall gardeners.

This garden planner is very useful and easy to use. It shows you when to start seeding indoors, the first outdoor planting dates, the expected harvest dates, and so much more. It’s charted for both spring and fall plantings. All you have to do is figure out your areas last and first frost dates; follow the directions and you’re good to go.

All I can say is this guy is a genius ..... this made seed starting so easy for me. I normally buy plants to put in the ground but i tried this instead and saved a ton of money on plants. everything you need to know is on this great slide chart

For the second year I've fallen down the rabbit hole of trying to understand planting crops on my backyard. There's so much information, and it makes sense when you're reading it and I try to remember but it just doesn't work when I'm faced to really go out and do something on the yard. This little "cheat-sheet" has been more useful than all the books I bought and read, making the deadlines for growing inside and outside accessible for me to understand based on my region.

This is full of critical I formation for a beginner gardener. What to plant next to each other and which plants that should not be planted next to each other. It also tells you how early you can plant and how late into fall you can plant and ofcourse what to plant during the beginning and end of the season allowing you to make the most of your growing season.

Honestly I love the idea and the information! But I'm getting older and my vision is at the point of reading glasses. The print made it too hard even with my readers. I had to take photo and blow it up. I ended up making a copy and recreating it larger. It is such a great help for gardeners and I just hate that it's printed so tiny. I still love it though

This is a great tool especially for me asgarden beginner! It’s simple to understand and will work anywhere in the country as to when to plant,what to plant and when to harvest etc. It’s not fancy but very helpful!! Very reasonable price for great information!

I can’t believe how useful this little slide rule really is! I recently moved to a different state and I am not as aware of the growing seasons, so this was a huge help in determining exactly when to plant something and exactly when I can expect to harvest it. Obviously, it’s not 100% accurate, but it is a huge help. Now, when I plant my seeds, I notate on the garden marker what date it was planted and the expected harvest date, right down to the expected week of harvest. This is a big help because I can evaluate the growth of different plants by looking at the potential harvest date, and if I have inadequate growth I can fertilize.

I love the tool - it's great for garden planning and has a lot of great info in a small and easy to use format. Unfortunately it's constructed of nothing more than heavyweight paper and is very flimsy. For the price I was expecting maybe plastic coated paper or at least some thicker cardstock. Amazon shipped in a plastic bag mailer so it got all bent and wrinkled on its way here. Very disappointed and will be returning.
