These are easy to use. They have great coverage so I only had to go over the surface once or twice depending on what and where it was being used on. I only wish the two pack had both a black and a white marker. Over all though, I think it's a good buy.

This pen works well. Great coverage and dries pretty quickly, but isn't fully waterproof right when it first dries.It has held up well since fixing the letters on the side of my daughters shoes. I will update my review after some time, because I won't know how well it actually works for a few weeks, or even longer hopefully. If it ends up rubbing off like the original color, I will fix them again with this marker and use the tape to isolate the soles and spray a matte top coat spray on it so it will last much longer.Ill be back to update this in the future!:))

This set of black shoe paint markers work fantastically well. They are acrylic based but have no odor whatsoever. I got them mainly to touch up a pair of scuffed boots and now they look like new. The paint is fast drying and waterproof - after it dried I ran water over the painted areas and nothing came off at all, the paint is totally affixed to the shoe material. Aside from using the on shoes they are actually great for a variety of art projects requiring drawing or writing - both the flat and pointed tips are perfect for calligraphy as well and the paint works as perfectly on paper as on all the other indicated materials. Hope the paint lasts a while as the markers are good quality and suitable for multiple applications.

I selected these pens to create a white drawing on the side of my black suitcase and it worked perfectly! The paint comes out smoothly and I was able to draw and color a picture that is 12" x 8". The paint did not bleed after applying it to the canvas material -- the lines stayed sharp and in place. I colored the drawing the solid white using these pens and the dark black background of my suitcase did not show through the white -- a result I was hoping for! The black pen also worked nicely, but I only tested it on white water color paper.

This tool exceeded expectations and was just what I needed to fix a faux pas. I have a favorite pair of boots that had split soles and heel caps. The local cobbler was able to replace the caps but could not repair the soles, so he suggested I get some replacement rubber soles and glued in place. So I ordered the parts and shoe glue for what I thought would be an easy repair. Wrong! I ended up with glue oozing out from beneath the soles and it dried white, so it was visible on the sides of the boots. I thought I'd have to bid farewell to them (much to my chagrin,) but then hope came in the way of these markers. I couldn't wait to try to fix my errors, and much to my delight, the black over the tiny strips of white glue made my goofs disappear! I am one happy camper. Now to have a little extra fun and paint designs on other shoes... A+ and a big thank you for saving my favorite boots!

Okay, maybe "natural" isn't quite the right word, but it doesn't look like you put paint on it, it looks like the color was always like that. I expected these to have a marker odor, but there is no odor at all. They are easy to use, just don't touch the covered area or it gets on you, let it dry before you touch. I haven't worn it out in the wet yet, but after a week it doesn't look like it has faded at all. I think this is a good value, I got a whole pair of shoes with rather large bright white midsoles covered so they don't look like cartoon shoes now. And there's enough left to touch up other shoes too. I could probably do a whole second pair if they aren't thick.

This product is just what I needed to paint the sides of the soles of some thrift store ankle boots. I pick this style of boot up when I find them for a dollar to add to our youth theater's costume closet. I had a pair with brown soles, but we use only all black. The markers worked great - paint is thick enough to cover in one coat, and dries really fast. Now I have a pair of all black shoes, with plenty of product left for future touchups or similar shoes that I need to paint. Highly recommend!

I often get requests for custom sneakers, even though I don't really love making them (way too time consuming). It's always a pain to keep paint off the midsoles or trying to keep paint ON them. These mid-sole markers are fantastic, odor-free and so easy to use. I haven't had too long to test the paint out, but so far they are holding up well. I only wish the order came with white AND black markers so that I could have both on hand without having to place another order. These have also worked well on canvas shoe material and the ink/paint has not smeared or bled so far. Overall, these are great for sneaker customization and I am very satisfied with the durability.
