These aren't thermals. Great for when you want your kid in an extra layer, but you know they would sweat too much in thermals. Fits as expected.

I got the ColdPruf Kids Base Layer Set in size small (6/8) for my 5-year-old, and it fits him perfectly! The pants are a little long, but that’s not an issue (he’s average height and size). The material is soft, warm, and great for layering in winter. It keeps him cozy without being bulky, making it perfect for outdoor play. Highly recommend for chilly weather!

Pros:-My goodness, he'll actually wear it.-It keeps him warm out in the snow. (Made snow angels and he was happy as a clam.)-Affordable.-Sizes actually line up with what you're needing.Cons:-Tend to be a little long in some spots, short in others.Final thoughts:My son loves these. They're machine washable, they seem to be rather sturdy yet lightweight so one doesn't feel buried under clothing. The price is solid. Honestly, I'd like to see an affordable set of these for adults. lolAbsolutely recommended.

I picked these up for my kids to use during the winter and I've been pleasantly surprised. Normally our kids don't love extra layers because they are bulky and uncomfortable, which are two things that this set seems to avoid. The base layer is soft and cozy while still being warm, and it's thin so that it doesn't add a lot of bulk or discomfort. Since ordering my first pair I've ordered a couple more simply because my kids seem to wear them no problem. Great option

These base layers are pretty decent, these are thin and lightweight. not the type of heavier ones. These are made mostly with polyester, so it does have a bit of the rough texture inside.

I got these for our daughter as she loves living in base layers.Upon opening and inspecting, they appeared to be a well made thin base layer. If you are looking for a medium or heavy weight base layer, this is not it. It's the perfect light weight that I was looking for. They are the thickness of most moisture-wicking appeal or sheets.Being I always wash new clothes before having our kids wear, I washed and dried and they did just great. I was debating between the Medium or Large as our daughter is in-between a M & L. I went with the Large and they fit fine with room to grow and no change in size after washing.I would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a thin, comfortable and moisture wicking base layer.

Our kids ski or play in the snow with a good polyester base layer, and these seem similar to the 32 degree or CuddleDuds or Spyder brand base layers we've purchased in the past. Nice soft seams and bands. No tags (printed on the inside). The gray color is nice with a sort of heathered print, but keep it mind it's not really heathered, just a sleek and smooth fabric. Thin and easy to layer. I feel like the sizing runs a little big. I typically equate a boys' large with a size 10-12, but this is identified as being a 14/16. They are meant to be close fitting. I wish I'd sized down.

Overall, I rather like this base layer for my little one (subject to the note on sizing below). It’s a thin base layer that’s meant for moisture wicking during outdoor (winter or fall) activities versus straight warmth. It’s nice and soft with flat seams and a tagless design to avoid irritation and is meant to fit close to the body as a true “base” layer under much heavier clothing. The materials and stitching seem to be of good quality and well put together so they should prove to be durable in use. Like most of these types of active clothing, they’re mostly poly with a small percentage of spandex for stretch which is exactly what you get.NOTE - one word of warning, please check the sizing. I first ordered a medium without thinking too much about it as my son is a medium in just about everything (a size 8). HOWEVER, these are sized differently as a medium is a 10-12. So the medium was considerably too big - the small fits perfectly and I kept the medium for future use. So please check the sizing before you order!With that caveat on sizing, I still can recommend this base layer if you’re looking for a base layer that is thin and moisture wicking for colder weather activities like skiing. If that sounds good to you, give this one a try today!
