This is the second one I have purchased in the last year. The first one now and then wouldn't turn the furnace on when it should. It worked fine with the heat-pump. This unit squealed when a I applied power to it. Coleman-Mach is sending a new unit that replaces this one, so I lost was some time.

I bought this as a replacement thermostat, wiring was simple as matching colors. I used a 2-gang blank cover plate to hide old screw holes

Make sure you read directions for model replacement. I bought a double switch plate at Home Depot for $2 to cover old foot print of my original thermostat. It was discontinued and this was the replacement. The new readout is way better. I think it’s an upgrade from original digital display!

I prefer the original thermostat's analog switches because it was easier to set and read, but it appears the original is not available. This one does work and does the job. The footprint is much smaller, so it doesn't cover the old screw holes. The instructions were poor, so I just color-matched the wires and hoped for the best. Color-matching the wires did work out just fine.
