I live in Salt Lake City and have a season pass to Snowbird resort and these pants have been great. Excellent in the deep winter for keeping warm, and fairly good breathability in Spring skiing when the vents are opened. Sheds water like a champ (great for those big powder wipeouts) and big enough at the foot to fit around ski/snowboard boots. My one complaint, is that the size I ordered was much bigger than what I thought I was getting. I can't wear these without a belt, but thats not a huge issue. Overall, great snow pants.

I have gotten to use them on one ski trip so far and they were great. The pocket on the right thigh is a good idea, but wish it was not quite so deep (my camera ended up on top of my knee). It would also be nice if they had some pass through pockets to get to your jeans underneath. They were true to size. I am 6'1", waist is 33 and 180 lbs. The medium worked well. They were warm and kept me dry. I did not need them yet, but the leg vents should work well on a warm day.

I used it without thermals or inners and it was enough for skiing in 0F (-18C) weather (non-windy day).Waterproof, cold proof, stylish, and very comfortable. Have used it for about 20 skiing days so far.

very comfortable and warm pants...the only thing i hated was that the brand name "Columbia" is plastered on the back in pretty big letters. I didn't know this and probably wouldn't have bought these had I did. I just have a thing about being a walking billboard. Other than that, pretty good pants.
