Very high quality construction for the price. Has handled rough use in weather. Great product and love convenience of not having to travel to Home Depot to pay more for a similar product.

This cord is Chinese, is supposed to be 10 gauge. I say"supposed to be 10 gauge" , as I have (in the past) received12 gauge Chinese wire that was NOT full 12 gauge. Securelyattatched plug ends, very flexible @ 80 degrees. I hope itIS 10 gauge; it looks very good. Sadly, no way of establishingactual gauge of conductors. For now the "benefit of the doubt"must suffice..After a close inspection and hook-up:I must add, the female connectors "insides" are brass and domake contact with both sides of the male blades. This cordreally does look like good quality. Conntek seems to be a majorplayer in electrical wiring components. I feel somewhatconfident that it really is 10 gauge..Finally-a storm that knocked the electricity out. First realtest of this power cable and my propane converted gas/ orpropane generator. Everything went swell. The only drawbackof running propane is slightly less power, but still morethan enough. It even ran my HVAC heat pump by accident fora short time.

I am an electrical contractor, and I purchased this cord to go with an interlock installation I provided for a customer. I have purchased Gen-Tran and Reliance cords before, and this seems to be of similar quality.

It's hard to get a heavy duty 30 amp power cord wrong, and this one is great. I was looking for an extension cord for my generator to hook to the house and this one fit the bill perfectly. Strong enough to deal with the outdoors and let me close the garage door on it so I can keep the generator outside. Its been in below freezing weather and was still flexible and easy to unwind and hook up. Other than a strong cord the only other item that was important to me was the color, I wanted to make sure no one would miss it and this thing is a nice bright red that I think stands out better against snow than a yellow cord which was really the only reason I didn't go with yellow.

I purchased this extension cord to use with my Generac 7500 Watt Generator. It is of good quality and well made. The bright color also stands out, giving high visability as to not being item to trip over.

Very heavy duty construction. A bit stiff but to be expected for the heavy gauge wire used. I prefer the red color - easily identifiable and stands out when being used or run across the ground. Twist lock connectors work fine. Ends of the wire when received were protected by a foam/plastic - nice touch. Works great.
