I was excited to use this product. The size of the mounting pieces means that I can't use it in the crate or anywhere else, so I can only use it on the floor. I specifically bought it to mount it in the crate. Disappointed, and wish it came in another mounting size with two smaller mounts rather than one big one that doesn't fit through anything I needed to.

The attachment piece was too large and didn't fit in the door of my dogs crate.

One tip- remove the screw in know before freezing. The spatula and cleaning brush are also well designed for their purpose.

This lick mat has been fantastic. Our dog likes his crate and uses it voluntarily but sometimes he's in it during times of stress and chaos. This lick mat is perfect for calming him down and distracting him at these times. It's easy to clean and is holding up very well so far.

My large dogs love when I smear 100% Organic Pumpkin on their lick matt and out in the freezer for a couple hours.When I leave for several hours I put a lick matt (attached to their side kennel wall) and the digs are very content and enjoy themselves.It keeps them busy and actually seems to relax them when they are finished. Great product!!

I’m a volunteer puppy raiser of Guide Dogs. Being comfortable in a crate is critical for our puppies while in training and their welfare is of the utmost importance. Lick mats are one of the tools we use to keep them happy and comfortable while in the crate. The option to attach this to the inside of the crate was the main reason I chose this mat. I received the brush and am using it for cleaning (the description says to use it to put the food on the mat but I just use a silicone spatula to do that). The hard plastic is a plus for our puppies over the soft lick mats; our pups are much less likely to chew it and we carefully acclimate them to new toys and objects. This is a quality product and I can confidently recommend this to other puppy raisers.

We have a new puppy in training and peanut butter is a lure we use often to teach our puppy to go into his crate. That gets a little awkward when it's time for him to go all the way inside, and I can't just throw a wad of peanut butter into the crate.We have thrown plates smeared with peanut butter inside the crate, but these can get messy.The key to solving this problem is this lick mat that attaches to the sides of the crate! I can lead him to the crate door and then further lure him inside by placing the lick mat far enough inside that he has to enter the crate fully before he can reach the treats!The size is plenty big for our little licker; in fact, if we covered the whole surface with peanut butter, it would be too much for a 10-lb. puppy.Puppy doesn't seem to mind licking a vertical surface, and I'm pleased not to have the sticky stuff on his bedding. This is really an awesome lick mat that solves a problem for us, and we like it very much!

We ordered the Coomazy Large Create Lick mat to help our pet warm up to being in his crate. The mat is 7.1" as advertised and the orange and gray colors look really nice, just as shown in the photos. It with with small spatula and a cleaning brush. The spatula is small and flexible and it helps you really press the food into the grooves. In the past I had used a metal utensil but the spatula works better. The brush is pretty stiff and the head of it is angled a bit-- it really gets the lick mat clean very quickly with a drop of soap and some water.We ran the lick mat, spatula, and brush on the bottom rack of the dishwasher (the spatula and brush in the silverware containers). They came out great. The spatula had a little bit of soap residue that washed right off after rubbing it with water, and that is due to something with our dishwasher.Before ordering, we checked the distance between the crate bars to make sure it would fit. When we received it, we discovered that our crate bars are not exactly equal distance, and we just so happened to measure between two bars where this would work. If this doesn't seem to fit your crate after you measured, maybe try different areas since there could be a small variations in the gaps between the bars. Once we found a good area, it was easy to attach this to the crate. It is secure and does not move when our pet uses it.The one thing that didn't work for us is the short amount of time it kept our pet occupied. The amount of knobs and grooves on this is much less and farther apart than some of the smaller ones we have. With the smaller ones, I can put much less peanut butter and it will keep our pet busy for about 30 minutes. I used both yogurt and peanut butter on this larger crate mat and he was finished in 5 minutes. I tried putting it in the freezer for a while with the yogurt and pb on it, but our pet still finished it in about 5 minutes. So I think this is just not challenging enough to keep our pet occupied.Overall this is a nice, sturdy crate mat and we love the spatula and brush, too! If the size and the distance of the bumps and grooves works for your pet, this could be a great option for you.
