I love this recipe book! As someone who enjoys cooking and gathering recipes from various sources, this book provides the perfect solution for organizing all my recipes in one place. The binder is well-designed, and the recipe cards are protected by plastic sleeves. It also features divider pages, allowing me to categorize recipes by type, such as meats, desserts, and more. I appreciate its portable size, making it easy to take along wherever I go. Additionally, it includes helpful information on common substitutions, volume conversions, and recipe terminology. I’m looking forward to filling this up. It would also make a great gift. Highly recommend.

I ordered the CR Gibson Coastal Kitchen recipe book, recipe cards and memo pads. All appear to be high quality and are a lovely design. I haven't yet used the recipe book.

The coastal colors and theme were what attracted me to this recipe binder. It includes 18 pocket pages, two 4x6" recipe cards each, for 36 cards total; and 12 sheets of "notes" paper. You can fit two cards into each pocket, if you end up getting more recipe cards. In order to open the metal rings, they have to be manually pulled apart, there isn't a tab at the end to press. I like that they've included substitutions on the inside back cover (always useful) and the recipe terms and conversions on the inside front cover, because I don't always remember the tablespoons, cups and quarts, etc. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I think the 12 dividers should've been better. They're colorful on the front, but blank (white) on the back, and rather lightweight. The order that they're in seems to be random. It goes: Appetizers, Soups/salads, Sauces/dressings, Breads/grains, Dairy/eggs, Fruits/vegetables, Pasta, Poultry, Seafood, Meats, Desserts, Beverages. To me, that is an odd sequence, or maybe that's how it's done these days? It isn't alphabetical nor in the order of a meal (i.e., appetizer, soup, main dishes, desserts, and then all the other groupings). Not a big deal, I know, but it bothers me a little.

The design of this recipe book is really cute and matches other coastal decor in my house It's so nice to have in the kitchen. The binder itself is pretty sturdy and provides plenty of room for all my go-to recipes. I appreciate the pocket pages, which make it easy to store everything from handwritten family recipes to printed ones I’ve found online. It’s nice not having to worry about spills or messes ruining my recipes, since I can just slip them into the pockets. The only downside I noticed is that while the binder does hold a lot, it can get a bit bulky. I do like the size of the recipe cards though - not too large, not too small. Overall, it’s a practical and attractive way to keep my recipes organized, and I find myself reaching for it more often than I thought I would. If you're looking for a way to keep your recipes neat and accessible, this binder is a solid choice.

Loose leaf Recipe Binder with a 1" round ring holds18 clear pocket, 3 hole drilled sheets. Each sheet has two Recipe cards, when flipped over, space to add Directions. The Binder is made of a coated printed wrapped sheet with a blue and green clamshell and wave design. The coated sheet repels liquid or food spots. Included are 12 printed index tabs to categorize recipes from Appetizers to Desserts and Beverages and extra lined note sheets. Inside cover includes helpful Recipe Terms and Volume Conversions. There are no recipes included in this binder. The user writes their own recipes and directions on the enclosed cards, more of a DIY. This gives the user an opportunity to personalize binder with their favorite recipes.

This recipe binder was the perfect thing to help my granddaughter organize her recipes. Up to this point she has kept all of her recipes and notes in a ziploc bag. She has just been baking about two years but already has quite a few recipes that are her go to meals and desserts. She also has made a point to collect family recipes. The binder is sturdy and includes about 36 recipe cards. There are pockets to keep recipes that she has cut out of magazines or written on note paper. Although this is of a smaller size, she has no problem folding large pages in half and keeping them in a pocket. There are tabs to keep her collction organized. She loves the format and can now find what she needs without going through her "recipe bag".
