No complaints on the hitch, it's the usual high quality product you'd expect from Curt.Watched the install video, she made it look like a piece of cake to install which is often the case when you're working on a brand new vehicle with no corrosion. Be forewarned though, drilling thru the frame rails is not as easy as she made it look. That's some kind of hardened steel in the Honda chassis, it chewed up two good step drills before I resorted to using a carbide burr in a die grinder to get thru it. Even that was a bit of a struggle. Went together fine after, nice and low profile.

This review is on the seller, not the actual hitch itself.Hitch itself was durable and exactly what we were hoping for. The hitch we received was defective. It was not level and would not attach to the car properly. Unable to use. Contacted seller multiple times via Amazon in the last couple months, with no response. Still have not received a replacement and still do not have a hitch on my vehicle. :-(

It is time consuming to install on a 2020 Honda Accord. If you have a shop do it, it may cost you more than you expect.

Nice strong hitch a bit heavy. Had to drill some holes but it worked out. Looks and works well.

I don't think the 1 star reviews are a fair evaluation of the product. Obviously written right after the install when their emotions were ruling the day. It is true that the instructions do not deal with the wall in the frame that makes it much more difficult but this is something that must have been added by Honda after the engineering was done by Curt. It is a shame that customer support did not know this or how to help but this is still a very high quality product!I purchased this hitch for my 2018 Accord Hybrid touring edition. The Hybrid was just released in late March, 2018. IT DOES NOT FIT THE HYBRID TOURING ADDITION. As soon as I started to install it, I could see there was a major problem. There is a component on the Hybrid which is not on the regular cars which is right where the hitch on the drivers side of the car needs to mount. I contacted Curt about the problem and they were unaware of this issue. I sent them pictures to show what the problem was. They advised that I return the hitch and that they would have to engineer a solution for the Hybrid. I ended up modifying to hitch to fit around the component that was in the way. I do not recommend doing this if you plan to do any actual towing with it as it will not be as strong as before. I am only using it for a bike rack and so am not concerned about the reduced capacity.I also ran into a problem when trying to fish the bolts through the frame as Honda has added a partition that makes that impossible. The instructions call for drilling two 1/2 inch holes for mounting the hitch. These holes had to be enlarged so that the large rectangular washers and 7/16 inch mounting bolts could be placed into the frame and not fished from the other hole. I included photos of the before and after installation. It was a very difficult install and I gave it 4 stars only because it is made very well, and now that it is installed, it looks great and functions extremely well.

In general, the installation instructions are very poor. Do not attempt this unless you are able cut or drill two 1 1/2” x 3/4” holes in a plate steel frame. I assure you this is not an easy task. Also be careful where you cut the holes as there are steel cross sections inside the frame very near the holes you will cut. I went through 2 carbide drill bits at $20 a piece. It is definitely a two person job. I’m very handy and it took me over 4 hours to do this. I came away with a busted lip and a deep gash in my hand. Curt customer support was very poor as all they did I read from their poor instruction manual. My install was on a 2018 Honda Accord EXL. I did my homework before tackling this project, called Curt in advance... I’m down right angry.

After working on it for 4 hours, I discovered that it would not work due to a bulkhead in the frame. I called Curt tech support and found out that they were aware of the problem. Apparently the fact that something doesn't work is not a good enough reason to stop selling it.
