Fits great and DC always makes quality products. It makes the corolla way better, but you definitely need a rear sway bar this is not enough, this car cannot corner for its life (literally). It looks good and even leaves proper space for your brake reservoir, making it easy to see and fill even with it on.

I got this when I purchased all the parts to rebuild my suspension to tie it all together, and I can say without a doubt that this was worth the money. It ties the front suspension together well along with the sway bar, and handling is greatly improved.

I bought this for a 2005 Toyota Matrix FWD rear drum brakes. I forget the 2 letters that go with model name. I upgraded front & rear brakes (rotors, drums, pads, shoes, steering knuckles, tie rod ends, calipers, wheel cylinder, stainless steel brake lines (front & rear), lower control arms with new bushings. I only put in new steering knuckles because the wheel bearings were already pressed in. I bought new rear hubs (w/ bearings already pressed in). I just wanted everything to bolt in. Then I saw this shock tower support ladder. It was a great price, so I bought it as well. All I needed was new shoes for the rear drums. I found the bleed screw for the front right caliper was broken off, so I needed to replace that caliper (tried to repair by drilling out old broken bleed screw to no avail). Anyway car drove fine with no real issues with 250K miles. I was impressed with the first Toyota I’d ever owned. So in a single day I switched out the entire brakes (lines, calipers, rotors, pads, etc.), wheel bearings, steering knuckles, lower control arms/bushings & this front shock tower support. Since I did so much at one time, I can’t honestly say how much this strut did for the performance, but I can say Toyotas are AWESOME. I’ve own a Mazda RX-7 & multiple BMWs, but I’m sold on Toyota products now. Not a ton of performance in a Matrix XR (1.8L, 5-speed manual), but it handles solid & get over 30 mpg. It’s the perfect stealth machine!I included pics of front & rear wheels to show the new (but dirty) calipers (powder coated), drilled & slotted rotors, and new rear drums. This car stops on a dime. Easily out performs the braking of my BMW 330i (& it had ventilated rear rotors). All this & a 4 door X-over (???🤔) vehicle that can haul a full size, top loading washing machine.I could feel the increased front end stiffness immediately after installing the shock tower strut. And for about $150, it was inline with my budget for breathing improved handling in an 18 year old, 250K mile Japanese workhorse. 😎I’m incredibly happy with my purchase of the product & the vendor.

First I wanna say I bought this strut bar for my lady’s 04 matrix xr. Installation was super easy. A matter of removing 4 nuts, installing the bar, and reinstalling the nuts. All in all, took about 15 minutes. Now for the performance. Granted, I put it on an all stock matrix. Just by adding the strut bar, my lady says (and I quote) “WOAH!!! I feel like a rally driver!!” Not a lot impresses my lady, but this strut bar definitely impressed her. If you’re in the market for a car part that won’t break the bank but WILL improve handling, a strut bar is the way to go.

I have a 2005 Toyota Corolla LE 1.8, the strut bar came in a few days without any issues. In the package it came with the needed washers that have to be placed when installing the bar and it came with the instructions and a few stickers. The bar was super easy to install and it looks cool. The car feels good when driving it after installing the bar. I recommend this bar for anyone with an older car like mines.

Easy install although i needed to buy new nuts do to factory ones not fitting with it. Not a big deal. 27cents at rural king. Over all product is built and manufactured nicely . Packaging could be better as mine punctured box during shipping but hey its solid metal so no harm to it. Mine was installed on a 2007 pontiac vibe. It fit perfectly

I didn’t think it would do much to my 2008 corolla but it actually made a significant difference in cornering response… obviously you’re not cornering faster but it feel solid and like there’s less weight shift

Well built, affordable, and noticeable performance. Overall makes the car hold much better in cornering and reduces body roll dramatically. I achieved 10km more in the corners effortlessly.

This changed the car's driving abilities to a large degree. The car doesn't lean at all when turning, this has helped the tires hold their grip and they don't screech in the turns as easily as they used to.Also I feel the bumps in the road considerably less. Would recommend, cheap upgrade, worth every penny.
