This puller really saved me some trouble. I thought the price was a bit high but after receiving it I saw that it is a quality product that works as intended the first time you use it. Even if I never need it again it saved me a lot of work and it paid for itself.

Make sure the metal shims come out with the gear when removing, use a magnetic wand to fish them out if you don't see them on removal. Use a tiny bit of bearing grease to hold the washers on the distributor drive gear for installation.

Does the job and pulls out the distributor drive gear in air cooled VW’s. You can get them out but the right tool for the job makes it even easier.
