After years of neglect, my car needed a new radiator. After installation, the old parts would not seal and popped off repeatedly. I purchased these as a replacement and they seated right away. That was a thousand miles ago and they've been rock solid.

Note to self.... Never buy auto parts from amazon. From the get go, the retaining clip was too long, therefore, did not do its function.

Bought this fitting and top fitting to add to the replacement of my 06 Jetta’s radiator. The top fitting worked great. This one fit loosely and leaked coolant. Looked identical to the old part but the ID is just a little bigger and would not work.
