Works fine. The cable seems a bit loose or long but overall okay. The hood is now opening again!

The plastic cable slot piece broke off after one pull - inferior plastic - I was able to utilize the original part to save the installation

I went to open the hood on my 06 Range Rover and nothing happened. Did some research and found this is a common issue. Found my cable broke at the handle, thankfully. Installed this and no more issues.

I was apprehensive about the fit of this cable, but was delighted to see that it was a perfect fit.I would have given 5-Stars, but the item contained no instructions whatsoever. Nonetheless, we were able to improvise and achieve a successful installation. Thank goodness for U-Tube!
