Bought this part for replacement in a Ford Escort GT and the part lasted about 9 months before failing. It failed in two ways, first off the rubber degraded from the fluid, and also the interior sealing surface rusted causing a leak. There is zero protection from rust or corrosion on these parts and the zinc plating on the pin did not last causing rusting within the rubber boot. Very very poor construction and quality control, should not even be considered, move along buy something else unless you want to spend extra labor.Note the quality of the luk parts in the background which came with a better corrosion protection on both parts.

This clutch master cylinder worked poorly for a month before full failure.I ended up rebuilding the original 18 year old OEM master cylinder.Going on 4 months on the rebuild with no issues.
