I'm finding that not all generic toner and drum unit providers are created equal. I'd purchased a set of drums and toner from another company and just after a few weeks I could see streaks in my printouts and random black dots on the edges.Long story short, I replaced the other company's drum unit with this one, and all the problems cleared up—the streaking and the specks.The unit came securely packaged in a box inside a plastic bag, and a sheet of paper was wrapped around the drum unit to protect it. I removed it, snapped my old toner cartridge in, and within seconds I was printing my test pages.So far, pretty happy with this one, but I'll come back and update this if anything changes.
