I bought this for my 12-year-old granddaughter who is learning to sew, and she was very happy with it. A wrist pin cushion is very useful when sewing by hand. I think it should be a little bigger, but it will work. It's also a bit pricey.

Valcro is a great idea. This is too tiny, felt this should be good for a young girl, or a starter.

I received a heart wrist pin cushion and not a tomato like I ordered. It's nicely made and the velcro wristband is comfortable but I wasn't happy with receiving what was not advertised and that's why I gave it a low review.

Cute. Tomato is smaller than I expected, but did not check for dimensions. Seems like it will be perfect if I am careful not to poke pins too far.. the pucture shows a blue, i thought it was a grwat color, but the one I got is purple. I dont mind, I like purple too, just be aware you may not get a blue one. the band is nicely padded, cute, and a good size, my wrist is on the larger side. Overall glad I got it, should be just what I need.

I ordered this because I liked the blue, but got red. It is also way too small for my purposes.

My wife uses this item since she is the crafts person who sews.

One reviewer said she got 3, so for $14.00 I was expecting 3. I got one. Not as pictured. (Light blue checkered print wrist strap - which is actually more cute then the green that is pictured I think). It IS small - there is room for it to be bigger in diameter. There is a nice hard plastic bottom inside the pin cushion so I can't stab myself with a pin which is good. I chatted online with Amazon because the description did not say we would get three - but the reviews led me to believe I would. Beware that you can find one in retail stores from $8 - $9 for one of them, which is what I told Amazon. I ended up getting a partial refund because she said she could not send out just two more. The woman said she was going to make a "ticket" if you will, about this product, so hopefully the description will be clarified soon. The thing is, if you can get 3 for $14, it's a great deal. It's so nice to use as you are sewing and pulling the pins out as you go. I can't believe that I have been sewing for so long without one. It seems like a better quality then the other wrist pin cushions that are "pinked" around the edges - this is a tomato pin cushion, so it's good quality - I wish it was bigger though by at least a half in diameter. I also wish I got three of them because I can see that it might wear out fast. Happy sewing everyone!

It was a nice surprise that I received a 3-pack of these cushions -- I was expecting just one. It came with a red, blue, and yellow tomato cushion, and they're really cute. The cushions are pretty small -- the tomatoes are about 1.5" in diameter, but I'm petite and have tiny wrists, so it works well for me. The velcro was adjustable on my wrist with room to spare (I really have skinny wrists). The pin cushion is reinforced by a hard plastic at the bottom of the tomato, so there is no danger of poking myself if I get too excited with pins and needles. It's cheap -- I mean it's a basic pincushion I didn't need it to be über-fancy, but it doesn't seem like it'll fall apart right away.It would hold a couple dozen pins and needles, which should work fine for what I do (I normally do cross-stitching and basic sewing). Plus, they gave me three of these, so I can easily use one to hold stuff for cross-stitching, and another for sewing (and I have one extra!), so overall, I am quite happy with this product.
