These are amazing! Exceeded my expectations. They are super comfy and l would agree that you could size down. I like for things like this to sit on my hips and these sit comfortably there at 30 inches, oh, l got the large size. I am usually @ a size 8 American. If you are decent with a seam ripper, scissors, needle and thread, these could fit up to a 50 inch waist. These have elastic and drawstring and neither are sewn into the fabric so these have tons of potential! I'm going to order a small pair and take out the elastic and leave the drawstring so l can have a pair that fits a little more tailored. LOVE THESE! Great by themselves or under skirts or dresses. If you are in to gothic, Renaissance, or Victorian fashion, these are a must!

These are identical to the pics. So cute, fit well. I bought to jut have as a light weight fun house pant, but once I tried them under a few dresses and skirts, they will get a lot of use. Bought the pink and white. True to size. Very soft fabric and the lace is so frothy and feminine.
