I was checking out earplugs for sleeping; I accidentally somehow bought these earplugs rather than the ones I intended to buy. When the earplugs came, I thought they were the pair I meant to buy, which had a 4.8 rating, but when I tried the earplugs I found out they didn’t block much sound. Since I opened the package, and tried them, I’m pretty sure I can’t return the earplugs. When I realized that they were poor earbuds I went back to look at why people had gave them a 4.8 rating; this is when I noticed I had somehow bought the wrong earplugs. These earplugs are very poor quality; I just going to throw them away. Regular disposable foam earplugs work much better. I do NOT recommend this product.

These are absolutely the best earplugs that I have ever used! At bedtime I am super sensitive to all types of noise. Ceiling fans, white noise, snoring, someone walking across floor can keep me awake or wake me up and I can't go back to sleep. I have used Earoes Foam ear plugs for years, It was hit or miss and using those. Many times they would fall out during the night or they would not properly seal off my ears from sound. Also ears would become irritated from them. The first night that I tried these new ear plugs it was a game changer for me. Totally gave me a very quiet night and slept the best that I've slept for a long time. The key to putting these in your ears correctly is following the directions. Finding the right tip size and also how you put them in the left ear and right ear. The medium tip size came already installed on the plugs. Plus there was a bag of extra tips from extra small to large included. They were a perfect fit for my ears. Thank you for inventing such a great quality, comfortable and helpful product.

Nobody seems to have the same issue as me. The internal hard plastic disk that sits in the ear ditch, digs into my ear if I’m sleeping in my side. Have adjusted it each way, still digs into my ear. This factor has nothing to do with what size insert fits you best. Back to silicone ear plugs that work better and are gentle on the ear. Waste of $ IMHO.

I ordered quite a few different ear plugs and none of them were comfortable and most of all did not stay in my ears during riding. This type however, seems to work very well, reduction of 30-40 decibels at least. Phone says 117db when riding and -30-35 would be 82-87, probably about what i am experiencing.

I was hoping these ear plugs would help me sleep better, but unfortunately they didn’t work out for me. As a side sleeper, the hard plastic is really uncomfortable—it puts pressure on my ear and actually hurts after a while. They do fit into the ears, but they don’t block out much sound. I could still hear everything going on around me, which kind of defeats the purpose. Might work for some people, but not ideal if you're sensitive to pressure or need serious noise reduction.

My husband loves these! Very comfortable- they fit perfectly. Love that there are so many sizes to ensure a good fit.

These are okay. Not great at sound blocking and unlike other users I had trouble sleeping with them in. The case is nice though.

While I did not use these for sleep, I compared them to standard foam earbuds (provided for free from a sleep mask I bought for $10) on common sleep disturbances, and they were subpar. Especially when looking at the price of these earbuds, they essentially do nothing. If you want these for minor sleep disturbances to block out quieter noises (light voices, fan, running water, dogs whining, etc.), I will give them 2/5 stars (blocking 30-60% of noise) compared to standard foam earbuds (blocking 60-90% of noise). If you want these for anything louder than quiet sounds (normal talking voices, dogs barking, banging, etc.) then do not buy these. They reduced noise by 10-20%, and I'd give them 1/5 stars in this regard. The standard foam earbuds reduced moderate-loud noises by 20-40%.The only advantages that they earbuds have is that they are a little bit more comfortable and easier to clean than standard foam earbuds. If you have small ears these seem to work a little better for quiet noises (I had a friend try them). If you're looking for earbuds that reduce quiet sounds, minorly reduce moderate-loud sounds, are pretty comfortable, easy to clean, and don't care about price then these are an ok option. Overall, I'd still give them 1.5/5 stars.
