garbage. Did not work. Sent it back and ordered the OEM version, which is less expensive anyway.

I received this as a gift as I was collecting items for my Motor Guide Xi5 install. When I put it on my list I did not realize it was not made by Motor Guide (that’s on me, it clearly states a different brand name). There is no arrow on the plug to match up to the Motor Guide plug. It is indexed with a Y and can be plugged in 3 different ways ( I tried all 3 ways). I could not get my Simrad GO7 to recognize the Xi5, it sees the gateway, but never pops up the trolling tab. I have since ordered a Motor Guide branded gateway cable.

This product has caused nothing but headaches worked 1 time out of the box after that. Nope thank god we are able to return within the 30 day time frame.
