This nail clipper is indeed heavy duty. Has some weight to it. Easy to cut my thick toe nails. Be careful because it's sharp and would be easy to press down on skin, etc... The nail file is okay too. Storage case is always good.

These work great on my finger and toe nails. I normally soak in a hot bath before clipping my nails, but I didn't with these and they worked great. Cheap store brand clippers won't even cut through my nails without softening them, so these are great.The included tin is nice; it gives me a reason to put it away neatly where I can find it (I have a bad habit of losing nail clippers somehow). This is the nicest unpowered nail trimmer I've ever used.

They are nail clippewrs, so there is not much to say other than they are super sharp so be careful and these wi;; cut through incredibly thick nails with no problem. "Squeezing" them together is quite easy and that makes them even better.

I guess if you have huge fingers, these are fine. For me it's just too bulky.That being said, for my toenails these were great! They are easy to hold and control, and the little file that it comes with is quite sturdy. The jaws open wide, and you can get quite a lot of pressure the way they are designed.Docked a star because I struggled with some thin dead skin/hangnail, and my little fingernail ones took care of it like nothing. But for tough/thick stuff where you need power, these are perfect.

I really like that these clippers are stainless, so there is nothing to flake off with use. The clippers are a pretty interesting design, instead of being open and ready to clip all the time, a spring clip needs to be turned to activate these (which takes about a couple seconds to open). The jaws open really wide, making these easy to position and fit into tighter spaces, and I find these handy not only for toenails and fingernails, but also for clipping tags off of packages, cutting fishing line, and anything else that needs a quick snip when these are the most convenient cutting device. The blades are sharp, well positioned, and cut flawlessly. .The nail file is sturdy and good quality, although it’s interesting ( but not a big deal) that it is separate from the clipper. This set arrived in a metal tin, which is practical for storage and attractive for gift giving.
