My husband has used them a couple of times and he said they are a good quality and does its job. Priced cheaper than what we saw them in the various auto part stores.

For anyone that doesn't want to spend $100+ on a matco or snap on set these are your best choice. They make unplugging a wire connector so much easier.

This pair of pliers has a bad finish. The grinding is all over the place. You can still see some poorly ground areas, and they overground on some parts. The double dipped handles are nice, and I expect it will hold up with its intended use for a reasonable amount of time, but this is not a high quality tool. It seems to function at its intended use pulling apart electrical connectors reasonably well, and if you need a tool to help speed that process, it's probably not a terrible choice. But I don't think it's a good value and I think this is a overall poorly crafted tool.

One more tool you didn't know you needed, right? Not perfect for every connector or situation, but pretty helpful at times for sure. While this tool seems very sturdy and pretty indestructible for normal use, it's a little rough around the edges. Literally. Once the tool was shaped, little attention was given to cleaning up rough casting or removing burrs from grinding. This is mostly cosmetic, but the tool might get snagged on the nice clothes you shouldn't wear when doing repair work :).Overall very handy though, as some connectors can really put up a fight, and this gives you the means to release the locking tab AND pull on the connector. Often doing both at once can be tricky without a tool!
