These laces are pretty stretchy, so they dont stay tight while you're skating. Which isn't good for figure skating cause you want your skates to be tight around the ankle.

I need a new laces because I’ve had my skates for 10 years and they have the original laces. So I keep having to retire them like every 10 minutes. So I got these and they seem to work a lot better. Stay tighter for longer. Honestly, I probably just need new skates at this point..

I just received and used the elite prolace figure skating laces. I was concerned when I ordered because the description mentioned hockey as well. I was relieved because they are indeed flat laces for figure skates. My suggestion would be to take “hockey” out of the description, so people know they are getting laces for figure skates.

I needed longer laces to be able to wear an ankle brace with my skates. I didn't know what size I would need and these laces were the perfect fit!! So excited to get back on the ice!!
