Great interface for the M1 system. Have been using it for years without one issue. Only complaint is the price is high for this screen size.

I’ve had this unit for several years. And for all of those years the screen has slowly been dying by the slow appearance of horizontal lines at the top of the screen, which are making their way to the bottom. Very expensive unit for such a poor screen.

The primary job of a keypad is to arm and disarm. This product does not perform this function well due to the incredibly small size of the numbers. Even my wife (who is 4'10 and petite) feels the keys are small. My fingers are average size and if I don't concentrate, my fingers will partially hit the other buttons. This causes both numbers to appear and then you have to hit clear and hope you get it right before the alarm goes off. I have had this for months now, using it every day, and I still find myself regularly hitting additional keys. I replaced the main unit with this because the main unit is pretty ugly IMO. This unit looks somewhat better, but they need to greatly improve the functionality of this and make an option for the keys to be larger.

I've had this in service for about 8 months. I purchased it because I did not care for the aesthetics of the keypad versions and wanted the system to appear upscale. My final plan is to have the Elk panel controlled from home automation touchpads, but I wanted at least one dedicated keypad in case of a network outage on the automation system. This keypad is petit, but easy to use and has multiple menus to get to other functions in the Elk including programming and automation functions. I dont' really use it for this because I program via ElkRP and the Elk automation tasks are dispatched through a separate controller.I would really like it if Elk would come out with updated firmware and the ability to reprogram screens, but I doubt they can allow too much customization and maintain UL rating for burglar alarm.The vendor "JMAC supply" shipped the unit quickly.
