This was pretty straightforward to install, we used some YouTube videos to help but most importantly it’s a fantastic device. Turning the fireplace on and off with the click of a button is more satisfying than expected!

Very quick install, just connect the two wires on the battery operated receiver to the two wires that are wire nutted together on the burner unit and it's done. Outstanding reception, I placed under the floor level of the fireplace via the removable grille and there is on trouble with signal. Mine is a ventless NG log set, Empire logs and ventless fireplace. Loving it!

Instructions say to press the MODE button on the transmitter after the pushing in the LEARN button on the receiver. There is no MODE button, but pressing the ON button seemed to work to Match Security Codes between the transmitter and receiver.

Does exactly what it's supposed to and works perfectly. Easy to set up too.

I thought I was ordering a remote only and the remote did not work with my gas logs. I would like to return it and get my money back.

My original order was placed just before the holidays. When it was received, I realized I had mistakenly order the wrong unit. I went back on-line and requested to return the unit. I received a call a few days later, the customer service representative said it was not a problem and they would request a Return Authorization from the manufacturer. While I was on the phone with the customer service representative, she asked if I would like to place an order for the correct unit. In good faith, I said yes, as long as I would be credited for the unit that I was returning. After repeated phone calls, I finally received an e-mail with an agreement of terms for the return authorization. I completed the RA application and was told I would be sent, via e-mail, the label for the return and a full refund, less shipping charges, would be credited to my Visa. It has been almost a month since the original order was placed and I still have not received the Return Authorization label and instructions. However, they were prompted in sending the replacement product. As a result, I have a Visa Bill with charges on it for both units.
