ESD Mats are primarily used to prevent electronic circuit boards and other electronic components and products from damage by an electrostatic charge. Static control is critical during electronic assembly, manufacturing, and repairs. Our ESD Soldering Mat Rolls are .078 inches thick and have two layers. The top layer is a blue, static dissipative rubber layer laminated to a black conductive rubber bottom layer. These ESD Soldering Mats provide excellent resistance to oil, grease, and most common solvents. Mat is easily cut to the size you need with scissors or a razor blade.
