Expensive material(s) for what you get. Installed many straps over me on roof solar mat system. Easy to do; don't know how well everything will work, and quite honestly would like to never find out (I live in FL).

While I do think these bases and caps are the best solution for roof installation of solar heaters, I think the set should also come with straps. I also bought a mounting kit that has brackets but like this one much better.
