I am not sure what makes this marine grade, generally I never know that makes something "marine grade" besides the price, and maybe bits of stainless steel here and there... With this fell pro head gasket I could find no major difference between this and the "economy" rebuild gasket from fel pro... So I am going to assume that, besides the price difference, this gasket is resistant to salt water in the cooling jackets. Since I don't run my boat in salt water, I probably won't notice a difference...
