I haven’t had to use it (and hopefully never will), but I bought this small fire extinguisher as a precaution. It’s a great size for keeping in the car or at home—compact and easy to handle in case of a small fire. The price is reasonable for the peace of mind and functionality it offers. It also comes with a small wall mount, which you can screw into the wall for easy access and storage.Overall, a smart and practical safety item to have on hand just in case!

I ordered this to have in my car for an upcoming road trip. This extinguisher is a nice portable size, measuring 11.5" X 2.5". The kit includes an optional mounting bracket for use at home or in the car. I also like the water-based option because, in an emergency, it can be sprayed on a person or clothing to help escape the fire. This extinguisher is classified as Type A (Wood and Paper), B (Flammable liquids), C (Electrical), and K (Cooking Oils and Grease). Very easy to use, simple, and straightforward. I hope I never need to use it.

I picked this up just to have on hand in case of emergencies. Hopefully, I’ll never need to use it, but there are a few things worth noting. Build-wise, the extinguisher seems decent. The plastic handle, nozzle, and locking pin all feel solid and well-made. The graphics and instructions are printed in English and easy to understand, and there’s both a manufacturing and expiration date printed clearly on the bottom of the canister. Mine was manufactured in February 2025 and expires in February 2029, which is good to see—it means I got a fresh unit. Now, here’s the reason for my 3-star rating: while this seems like a functional extinguisher on the surface, it is not UL listed, and that alone is a red flag. It’s labeled as using a “100AB” extinguishing agent, meaning it claims to handle Class A (paper, wood, cloth) and Class B (flammable liquid) fires over a 100 sq ft area. However, you really need to educate yourself before relying on something like this. The extinguishing agent appears to be a soapy liquid, which many might assume is similar to the kind used in Class K extinguishers (used for grease and oil fires). Real Class K extinguishers use potassium acetate, a specialized chemical that reacts with hot cooking oils to create a thick, foam-like layer that suffocates the fire. This process, called saponification, is highly effective and safe in commercial kitchens. But what’s in this canister is not that. Based on the label and demo videos I’ve seen, it looks more like a simple water-and-detergent mix—not suitable for high-risk fire scenarios. That matters, because if you were to use this on:•A Class B fire (gas, oil) – the liquid could spread the flammable substance and make the fire worse.•A Class C fire (electrical) – you risk electrical shock if the circuit is live since water-based agents conduct electricity.•A Class K fire (cooking oil/grease) – without proper chemical foam, you could blast the burning oil and spread the fire dangerously.According to a friend of mine who’s a fire extinguisher tech, this should really only be used on Class A fires, like paper or wood. Anything beyond that, and you’re gambling with safety. This is another example of cheap, foreign-made products being sold with misleading claims to people who may not fully understand fire classifications. At the end of the day, this may work okay for small, basic fires—but it’s not a premium product, and you shouldn’t treat it as a proper replacement for a real UL-listed extinguisher. If you want true peace of mind, spend the extra $10 and buy a Kidde. You’ll get something that’s tested, UL certified, and actually built to handle emergencies correctly.Stay informed—because in an emergency, the wrong tool can make everything worse.

Looks good, wish it would have come with mounting screws. I haven't tried to use it but wanted to provide a real picture of what you get. I've mounted it in my boat and it looks nice.

This is great to have on hand! I love the size. I recently ordered a similarly-sized extinguisher from a different company and just about every word on the bottle was in Chinese. I’m grateful this one is easy to read! It does get a little confusing that the company which makes this product manufactures multiple types of fire extinguishers and includes directions for all three types on the same canister, but the instructions for this model are at the top.The product page says this extinguisher expires in four years, and that’s from the date of manufacturer. Mine was made about two months before I received it. I like that the expiration date is clearly labeled on the bottom of the bottle. I have an older fire extinguisher that has no date on it at all!Lastly, I like that this extinguisher includes a mounting bracket. The last one I ordered didn’t have one.

I was looking for a fire extinguisher to keep in my car for emergencies, and this one seemed like a practical choice. It’s compact enough to store in the trunk without taking up too much space, which is important when space is limited. When I tested it, the water pressure was surprisingly strong, giving me some peace of mind. Just keep in mind that this is a water-based extinguisher, so it’s only suitable for certain types of fires—something to be aware of depending on your needs. Overall, it feels like a reliable and convenient option to have on hand.

I recently received the Leyanny Fire Extinguisher that I ordered and my initial impression is positive. The unit appears to be well built, with a compact design that makes it convenient for home or other settings where emergency fire protection might be needed. The construction quality seems solid, which gives me confidence in its durability and reliability. Unfortunately, as I haven’t had the chance to use it, I can’t speak to its effectiveness in an actual emergency situation. However, based on appearance and build quality alone, I’m pleased with what I’ve received so far. I hope this review helps you with your shopping experience!
