This is a very nice notebook. I usually avoid spiral notebooks because I am left handed, but the top spiral works great and is much easier. The paper is normal notebook quality. Pen ink doesn't bleed through, but obviously something like paint would. It is a nice size as well. I would recommend.

I use a lot of the ubiquitous Yellow Legal Pads, but when you want to flip back through your notes, it can be cumbersome. This solves the main problem by havign the spiral binding at the top making it easy to go back through past notes. The design makes it easy to either keep all the notes in the notebook or remove a page if need be.The waterproof cover is great for clumsy people like me, and when I did have a small spill, it didn't affect the paper at all.It is more expensive than a yellow legal pad, but for how great it is at making things easy to get to, it's worth the price.

I live and die by my to-do list, so this notebook is perfect for me. The pages have little triangles down the side which are perfect for making & checking off lists. I'm a lefty, so the top spiral is great for me, as I'm never leaning my hand or wrist against a metal spiral. The cover and back is flimsier than I remember the Five-Star notebooks of my youth (way back in the 1990s, when Five-Star notebooks were the absolute hotness), but that could just be rosy-retrospection.I haven't used the app, so I can't speak to its quality or usefulness.

Sturdy, handy for my left-handedness, and I have always preferred college ruled notebooks. I take a lot of notes and nothing annoys me more with that that a tablet falling apart. I don't think I'll have that problem with this.

Good-looking notebook! The top spiral works best for me as the side spiral does not get in the way during writing sessions. I've been using Five Star products for decades now and they are the only notebooks that will stand up to continuous use and abuse. 100 sheets is adequate to get me through a class or a large project or two (or three). I am bringing this one into the field with me for a several week study, knowing I can stuff it in my backpack day after day and know it won't fall apart.The notebook also highlights that the paper prevents ink bleeds, which as a lefty, is a very attractive prospect. I hate inky pinkies!

I like the paper in this notebook. It’s perforated with little symbols in the margin to create bullet lists, etc. The spiral binding on the top makes it useable for both right-and-left-handed writers. I wish the chipboard/cardboard back was sturdier. It’s pretty floppy if you don’t have it sitting on a desk. Mine was already bent and creased so that’s why I took off a star.
