This kit contains repair solutions to most common tent problems encountered by campers. The choice of items included is well thought out. The items are well made and the kit includes clear instructions for each item. Also, in terms of of consumables, such as shock cord and fabric tape, the kit includes enough to do a quality repair job rather than a slap'n'dash temporary fix.My favorite item in the kit is the zipper-pull replacement. It screws on to the zipper and completely replaces the broken zipper pull. It can be used to replace tent zipper pulls, backpack zipper pulls and more.I'm glad to have this kit my tent box.

This is really an essential repair kit for anyone who's doing any type of adventuring using a tent. If you're just backyard camping, backpacking, spending some time in a campground no matter what it is that you're doing with a tent you should definitely have a repair kit. This one is very basic with some simple materials that can be used to facilitate repairs in the field. I can tell you it really sucks to be in a tent that gets a hole ripped in it or ends up with a broken zipper especially if you don't have anything on hand to repair those types of damage. This kit really steps up and makes it super simple to repair the most common types of damage a tent will sustain.

This is a nice little kit that will cover several of the possible tent problems you'll have to cope with. I'm really pleased to have this, especially since I need some bungee cord for a pole.2 pole splints (1/2" & 5/8"), 2 mesh repair patches (each can be cut up into up to 4 patches), a length of thin bungee cord, replacement zipper slider, replacement zipper tab, small carabiner, 10' role of rubber tape (not duct tape), and a 24" roll of fabric repair tape. This seems like it will cover a lot of problems, but I can think of some others (see below). And it's all in a zipped plastic bag inside of a cloth cinch bag! Sweet!I'm not sure what the carabiner is for. The "duct" tape has no reinforcement fabric in it, so it's not duct tape to me.Let's be real, though; the claim that putting together a kit like this by buying each individual item would cost you $50 would depend entirely on where you sourced your parts from. I found a fairly similar kit for $13, after all. And this is, for me, the big negative: the price seems high. Maybe if they hadn't put their branding on the packages they could've saved some money. Maybe they could've saved money on the bag by silk-screening(?) less stuff on there. I don't know. I think that the most expensive thing in the bag is the replacement zipper, which they sell separately for $15, but there are other brands which cost $7.In other words, I'm happy with the kit, but they should've included more or charged less. Just my opinion. Also, there are some things that they should have included, but didn't.For example:A folding scissors or knife to cut the patchesDouble-eye hooks for ropes and elastic cords to connect to polesWater-proofing spraySeam repair (silicone caulk?)Rubber cement with applicatorPatches that work whether the tent is wet or dryFlexible splint for bendy polesBear spray, because this kit won't be enough to repair a tent destroyed by a bear!

Everything included as advertised. This is a basic repair kit. The cloth drawstring bag comes tightly closed with a tiny zip tie. You might want to remove that before you go camping and potentially get agravated because you need to do a repair. Lol. The items included here will probably work for one quick, temporary fix. I'd rather have that than nothing and a wet tent. I do think the kit is overpriced at $30

This is a nice compact kit to have on hand for camping emergencies. I mostly bought it because I wanted to try the zipper pull, and it works great—but only on smaller zippers. I’m sure they make other sizes, but for my tent (a Gazelle 4-person hub tent), the included zipper slider is just too small. That said, I tested it on a smaller pop-up tent and it worked perfectly. The other items in the kit are useful and will definitely stay in my camping kit for those unexpected fixes. The canvas bag is a nice touch too. It keeps everything together and has a little extra room, so I’ll probably add a few other repair items I already have just to make it my go-to emergency bag.Overall, a thoughtful and useful kit, even if the zipper fix wont work for my main tent.

Nice kit to put with your camping stuff just in case something should happen to your tent while you’re in the middle of nowhere. Comes with most of the things you should need to get it usable in a pinch.

Great little emergency tent repair kit. But it has 1 MAJOR FLAW.The drawstring bag is cinched and then zip tied around the drawstring so that it is impossible to remove without cutting the drawstring. YOU HAVE TO CUT THE DRAWSTRING BECAUSE OF THE ZIP TIE. So when you need to repair your tent, the bag will just be an open pouch. You will no longer have a functioning drawstring bag for all the other parts you didn't use, because you had to cut the zip tie off and cut the drawstring with it. So DUMB!!I thought about a higher star rating, but this flaw is so stupid that I feel the manufacturer won't change it until it gets the bad reviews it deserves.LOSE the ZIP TIE and this would be a 5 star product.

This came in handy with our first trip packing it. The mesh in my tent had a small rip and the patch was easy to apply. I would recommend adding a tiny pair of scissors to the bag, but otherwise it has everything you could need for a quick fix on the go. It's also a small and light bag, for those concerned about weight. I just stuck it in the front pocket of our backpack.
